EVO Gymnastics, also known as EVO Athletics, is a multi-sport club known for its men's gymnastics program located in Sarasota, Florida.
EVO Gymnastics is co-owned by Kyle Lawton and Lydia Lawton. [1]
In 2016, EVO undertook a series of moves to expand. In June, EVO moved into a new facility in Sarasota, Florida. [1] In August, it was announced that Aimee Boorman, the personal coach of Simone Biles, was hired to the staff. [2] It then acquired Suncoast Volleyball Club to bring under the EVO brand in September. [3] [4]
With USA Gymnastics' decision to terminate its usage of Karolyi Ranch in January 2018, EVO served as one of two temporary training sites for the United States women's national artistic gymnastics team until November 2019. [5] [6] [7]
Former United States men's national artistic gymnastics team member Sam Mikulak announced he had joined the EVO coaching staff in October 2022 with the aim to elevate the program to an official Olympic training center. [8] [9]
Samuel Anthony Mikulak is a retired American artistic gymnast. He is a six-time U.S. national all-around champion, the 2018 World bronze medalist on high bar, and a three-time Olympian. He is also an eight-time NCAA champion, winning the team, individual all-around and several individual event titles at the 2011, 2013 and 2014 NCAA Men's Gymnastics championships.
The USA Gymnastics National Championships is the annual artistic gymnastics national competition held in the United States for elite-level competition. It is currently organized by USA Gymnastics, the governing body for gymnastics in the United States. The national championships have been held since 1963.
Aimee Boorman is an American artistic gymnastics coach. She coached 2016 Olympic champion and 2013–2015 world champion Simone Biles. She was the USA women's gymnastics team head coach at the 2016 Rio Olympics. As of 2021, she serves as an assistant coach for the Netherlands' women's gymnastic team.
Yul Kyung-Tae Moldauer is an American artistic gymnast. He is the 2017 U.S. national all-around champion and the 2017 World bronze medalist on floor exercise. He represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics and was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2023 World Championships.
The 2021 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships was the 57th edition of the U.S. National Gymnastics Championships. The competition, superintended at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, concluded on June 6, 2021.
The 2020 U.S. Olympic gymnastics team trials were held June 24–27, 2021 at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis. At the conclusion of the event, USA Gymnastics named both the men's and women's team to represent the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Stephen Nedoroscik is an American artistic gymnast who specializes on the pommel horse. He is the 2021 World Champion and a two-time NCAA National Champion on the event. He is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team. He will represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
John Brody Malone is an American artistic gymnast. He represented the United States at the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics and is a three-time United States national all-around champion. On horizontal bar, he is the 2021 World Championships bronze medalist and the 2022 World Champion. He is a ten-time NCAA National Champion. In June 2024, he was named the U.S. Olympic team.
Shane Michael Wiskus is an American artistic gymnast who represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics and has been named as an alternative for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Additionally, he represented the United States at the 2019 World Championships and is a three-time NCAA Champion.
The 2020 Winter Cup was an artistic gymnastics competition held at the Westgate Las Vegas in Las Vegas from February 20 to February 22, 2020.
The 2019 Winter Cup was an artistic gymnastics competition held at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas from February 15 to February 17, 2019.

Colt Barrett Walker is an American artistic gymnast. He is a member of the United States national gymnastics team and competes in collegiate gymnastics for Stanford. He was a member of the gold medal winning team at the 2022 Pan American Championships and was the alternate for the bronze medal winning team at the 2023 World Championships. He is the 2019 junior Winter Cup and National Champion.
Asher Keen Wah Hong is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team. He was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2023 World Championships. He will represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Curran Michael Phillips is an American former artistic gymnast. He was a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team and was the 2023 Pan American champion on horizontal bar and 2023 Pan American Games champion on parallel bars. He competed in collegiate gymnastics for Stanford.

The 2024 Winter Cup, known officially as the Kentucky Winter Classic, was an artistic gymnastics competition held at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 23–25, 2024. As in recent years, the competition included men's and women's gymnastics.
The 2024 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships, known as the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, was the 60th edition of the U.S. National Gymnastics Championships. The competition was held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas from May 30–June 2, 2024.
The 2024 United States Olympic gymnastics team trials were the Olympic gymnastics team trials held June 27–30, 2024 at the Target Center in Minneapolis. At the conclusion of the event USA Gymnastics named both the men's and women's team to represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
