E Polis Torino is an Italian local newspaper owned by the San Marino-based publishing company E Polis and based in Turin, Italy.
Although it is not a free newspaper, 70% of copies are distributed free near very busy locations like universities, railway stations, airports, and shopping centres; the paper is also regularly sold at newsstands.

Umberto Saba was an Italian poet and novelist, born Umberto Poli in the cosmopolitan Mediterranean port of Trieste when it was the fourth largest city of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Poli assumed the nom de plume "Saba" in 1910, and his name was officially changed to Umberto Saba in 1928. From 1919 he was the proprietor of an antiquarian bookshop in Trieste. He suffered from depression for all of his adult life.

Ulric Manfred II or Manfred Ulric was the count of Turin and marquis of Susa in the early 11th century. He was the last male margrave from the Arduinid dynasty. Ulric Manfred's daughter, Adelaide, inherited the majority of his property. Through marriage to Adelaide (c.1045), Otto of Savoy, a younger son of Count Humbert I of Savoy became margrave of Turin. Their descendants would later comprise the House of Savoy who ruled Sardinia and Italy.
The March or Marquisate of Turin was a territory of medieval Italy from the mid-10th century, when it was established as the Arduinic March. It comprised several counties in Piedmont, including the counties of Turin, Auriate, Albenga and, probably, Ventimiglia. Cassa di Risparmio della Marca Trivigiana also known as Cassamarca in short, was an Italian savings bank headquartered in Treviso, Veneto. Due to Legge Amato, the bank was split into two organizations: Cassamarca S.p.A. and Fondazione Cassamarca – Cassa di Risparmio della Marca Trivigiana in 1992. The S.p.A. and the banking foundation were the founders of banking group Unicredito in 1994, a predecessor of UniCredit. The S.p.A. was absorbed into UniCredit in 2002; the banking foundation, survived as a charity organization, as well as owned 0.23% shares of UniCredit, as one of its investments.
