Eco-running

Eco-running is the variation of recreational running in which the participant collects the litter that is found along the path travelled. The founder of Eco-Running is Samuel Huber of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the United States. [1]

New Town Eco Park is an urban park in New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata and the biggest park so far in India. Nabao Lake, also known locally as "lawa ng nabao", is a 38-hectare (94-acre) eco-tourism site situated in Barangay Santa Rita, adjacent to Barangay San Carlos in the Municipality of Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. The park covers 55 hectares of undulating land and includes a range of activities. It was once home to the Fagan family. In 1980 Bruce Fagan and his sister, Ida, donated the land to the New South Wales State Government. Hornsby Shire Council was appointed sole trustee. The park was officially opened by the Premier of New South Wales, Nick Greiner, MP on 5 November 1988.
