Edda Villaluna Henson is a socialite and member of the Villaluna family,called "the Mining Royal Family in the Philippines". [1] In 1990,she was appointed the fourth Administrator of Intramuros by President Corazon Aquino,but was dismissed five years later on November 30,1995 by President Fidel Ramos over corruption scandals,including anomalies in bidding for government projects. Added to the formidable list are the decisions and resolutions of the National Labor Relations Commission which are now initially reviewable by the Court of Appeals,instead of a direct recourse to the Supreme Court,via petition for certiorari under Rule 65.
Presbitero Jose Velasco Jr. is the incumbent Governor of Marinduque and was a former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. He was appointed to the Supreme Court by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on March 31,2006.
