Edwin "Eddie" John Jefferys is an English music producer, artist and sound designer. He is best known for his work as a member of the duo 16bit and his solo project Moody Good.
His work as 16bit employed bass heavy music, and resulted in multiple publishing syncs for Nike, the Transformers film series and the film Safe House. [1] [2] [3] He was involved with the production of Björk's Biophilia album. [4] [5]
He released his debut solo album Moody Good with MTA Records and Owsla on 2 June 2014. [6] The album won Best Album in the 2014 Bass Music Awards. [7]
Jefferys produced a single for the rap group Foreign Beggars entitled "Anywhere", provided additional production for the Chase & Status track "Gangsta Boogie" and remixed Yogi's single featuring Pusha T 'Burial'. [8]
He later released a 6 track EP on OWSLA's sister label NEST entitled This Is The Investigation, in 2015, which explored experimental sounds and textures. [9]
Jefferys worked alongside Skrillex as a sound designer on the film Transformers: Age of Extinction . [10]
In 2017 Jefferys released a collection of music in the form of 3 mixes/mixtapes entitled Music To Go Fuck Yourself To, [11] and remixed Noisia's track "Get Deaded" [12]
Whilst continuing to produce and release solo music under the Moody Good alias, Jefferys works with British video artist and Director Chris Cunningham on audio/visual projects. [13]
In 2019, Jefferys released his sophomore extended play Goofball through English record label Never Say Die on 15 March 2019. [14] [15]
16bit were an English electronic music duo, consisting of Eddie Jefferys and Jason Morrison. They were signed to Chase & Status' MTA Records, and best known for their work with Björk.
Noisia was a Dutch electronic music trio consisting of members Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen, and Thijs de Vlieger from Groningen, Netherlands. They produced a wide variety of music including drum and bass, dubstep, breakbeat and house. They released music under labels including Skrillex's Owsla, deadmau5's mau5trap and Jay-Z's Roc Nation. Noisia previously combined with the group Foreign Beggars to form the supergroup side project, I Am Legion. They released their collaborative self-titled album on 2 September 2013. Noisia also has production credits under the pseudonym Nightwatch, such as when they worked with Alexis Jordan, Hadouken!, Wiley and Wretch 32. They produced Hadouken!'s album, For the Masses, that charted at number 19 on the UK Albums Chart.
Bangarang is the fourth EP by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released on December 23, 2011, via Beatport while being released on other digital retailers on December 27, 2011. It was released on January 24, 2012, as a physical CD. It was announced via Skrillex's Twitter page on December 12, 2011, that the album was completed, while the release date was also announced on December 21. The record is mostly a collection of songs that have been previously performed during The Mothership Tour. It features collaborations with the Doors, Sirah, Wolfgang Gartner, 12th Planet, Kill the Noise and Ellie Goulding. Musically, Bangarang has multiple influences of electro, dubstep and techno, while also incorporating elements of eurodance, drum and bass, rap rock, experimental rock and ska. It features syncopated rhythmic build-ups, technical breakdowns and "chopped-up" vocal hooks, as well as multiple vocal samples. An orchestral song was also featured as a bonus track on the iTunes edition.
The M Machine is an American electronic music duo from San Francisco, California, United States, formed in 2011 and currently consisting of Ben Swardlick and Eric Luttrell. Owsla is an American record label and creative collective. It was founded by Skrillex, Tim Smith, Kathryn Frazier, and Clayton Blaha in 2011. Skrillex announced the label on August 17, 2011. The label's first release was Porter Robinson's Spitfire.

Spitfire is the debut extended play (EP) by American electronic music producer Porter Robinson, released on September 13, 2011, through Owsla. After releasing his 2010 single "Say My Name", Robinson expressed desire to explore different musical genres by producing an EP, diverging from his traditional eurodance style. Spanning a range of genres, Spitfire marked the inaugural release on Owsla and caused Beatport to crash following its promotion by musicians Skrillex and Tiësto. The EP charted at UK Dance Albums, Dance/Electronic Albums and Heatseekers Albums, with Robinson subsequently embarking on a tour to promote it. Songs "The State" and "Unison" received particular attention for their libertarian themes and use in DJ sets, respectively.
Defiant Order is the third studio album by French electronic turntable band Birdy Nam Nam. The album was released via Savoir Faire / SME France on 19 September 2011 and was re-released worldwide on 28 May 2013 through Owsla. Branden Ratcliff, also known as Vindata is a producer/DJ based in Los Angeles. The project was formerly a duo with Jared Poythress. In March 2017, they were featured on Rolling Stone's list of 10 New Artists You Need to Know Now. They gained recognition with a single featuring Kenzie May, "All I Really Need." Shortly after, Skrillex signed them to a record deal at Owsla where they released Through Time and Space featuring Kenzie May again as well as Anderson .Paak, Chuck Ellis and Kaleena Zanders and Mack.
