William Edward "Eddie" Kirkland Jr. (born December 16, 1981) is an American Christian musician and pastor of The Parish Anglican Church, who primarily plays a contemporary Christian style of worship music. He has released one studio album, Kings & Queens in 2012, with North Point Music.

Early life

William Edward Kirkland Jr., [1] was born on December 16, 1981, in Tarrant, Texas, the son of a pastor, Dr. William Edward Kirkland Sr. and mother, Donna Anne Kirkland (née, Breslend). [2] [3] He has two younger brothers, Christopher and Kyle. [4] Kirkland was raised in Jacksonville, Florida before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia to become the worship pastor at North Point Community Church, where he was based for five years. He is currently the founder and pastor of The Parish Anglican Church in Atlanta, Georgia. [5]

Music career

His music recording career began in 2008, with the album Orthadoxy. The extended play, Here + Now album, was released on October 14, 2011, with North Point Music. The subsequent release, a studio album, Kings & Queens , was released on August 14, 2012, from North Point Music. [6] [7] [8] [9]

Gateway Worship is an American Christian worship band from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. The team leads worship at Gateway Church, a 39,000 member congregation located in Southlake, Texas, which has grown quickly since the church's beginnings in 2000. Gateway Worship is made of a whole team of worshippers who serve Gateway. Thomas Miller served as the original senior worship pastor until becoming executive ministry pastor in 2018. He started his music career, in 2012, with the release of Open the Heavens by Oilonit Music, which is his own label, and Central South Distribution. This album was his Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums and Heatseeker Albums charts. The song, "Keep Me", was placed on both the WOW Gospel 2013 CD and DVD.

North Point Worship, formerly known as North Point InsideOut, is an American contemporary worship music band from Alpharetta, Georgia. Their group formed at North Point Community Church in 2012, a non-denominational congregation, a church established by Pastor Andy Stanley. The group released, No One Higher in 2012 and Hear in 2015 with North Point Music. Nothing Ordinary: Part 1 released in June 2017 and Nothing Ordinary: Part 2 released in October 2017 were recorded with Centricity Music. Two of those albums both charted on the Billboard magazine charts, with the Hear album placing on the Billboard 200 chart.
