Eddie Matney is an American host chef, restaurateur, and television personality. He is the owner and executive chef of Eddie's House in Scottsdale, Arizona. He and his family live in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
Matney co-owned and operated the Stockbridge Cafe in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. In 1986, he moved to Arizona to open the restaurant Steamers in Phoenix. His next restaurant, Eddie's Grill, opened in 1988. [1] In September 1998, with his wife Jennifer Blank-Matney as his partner, he opened another restaurant, Eddie Matney's. [2] Matney then opened Wild Noodles, a fast casual restaurant which developed into a nationwide franchise with 20 outlets by 2007, but subsequently failed and is no longer in business. [3] In 2006, Chef Eddie partnered with NBA player Amar'e Stoudemire to open Stoudemire's Downtown. [4] Matney's restaurant, Eddie's House, opened in May 2008 in Scottsdale. [5] Matney owns and operates a catering company under the Eddie's House name.

[7] As of February 2013, Matney was awarded "Most Influential In Valley Food" in the Best of Our Valley edition for Arizona Foothills. Matney has received many awards for his philanthropic work for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona, the Sojourner Center, the Phoenix Zoo, Phoenix Theatre and Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center.

In 2018, Chang created, produced, and starred in a Netflix original series called Ugly Delicious, and through his Majordomo Media group, he has produced and/or starred in more television and podcasts. Alessandro Stratta is a celebrity chef and restaurateur of mixed Italian and French heritage. Stratta played the role of Iron Chef Italian on the television show Iron Chef USA. He was the recipient of the James Beard Foundation award for Best Chef Southwest in 1998 and was executive chef and owner of his famous namesake restaurant, Alex, in Las Vegas until its closure on January 15, 2011. He was later diagnosed with colon cancer and became a cancer survivor. He was the executive chef and owner of "Tapas by Alex Stratta" in the Las Vegas suburb of Summerlin, until it closed in 2015. In 2016, Stratta became executive chef de cuisine at Prado restaurant at the Omni Hotel in Paradise Valley, Arizona.

Hotel Valley Ho is a historic hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. Also called the Valley Ho and, for 28 years, the Ramada Valley Ho, the hotel was originally designed by Edward L. Varney. It first opened in 1956 with a forward-looking and futuristic design. Movie stars and famous baseball players stayed, and the building quickly became known for its trendsetting guests and its fashionable atmosphere. The success of the venture resulted in expansion in 1958, with two additional two-story wings of guest rooms extending to the north.
