AFC Bournemouth is a professional association football club based in Kings Park,Boscombe,a suburb of Bournemouth,Dorset,England. The club competes in the Premier League,the highest division of English club football. Formed in 1899 as Boscombe,the club adopted their current name in 1971. Nicknamed "The Cherries",Bournemouth have played their home games at Dean Court since 1910. Their home colours are red-and-black striped shirts which have been a tradition dating back to the club's establishment.

Sandbanks is an affluent neighbourhood of Poole,Dorset,on the south coast of England,situated on a narrow spit of around 1 km2 or 0.39 sq mi extending into the mouth of Poole Harbour.

In 2019,he repurchased the 25% share in the club to become the sole shareholder. In December 2022,Demin sold his 100% stake as AFC Bournemouth owner to Black Knight Football Club,with its Managing General Partner,Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley,becoming the new chairman of the club,ending Demin's 11 year association with AFC Bournemouth. Demin is also noted as one of the beneficiaries of the NK Celje football club,Slovenia.

Samuel William Surridge is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for MLS club Nashville SC. During his time at AFC Bournemouth,he spent time on loan at Weymouth,Poole Town,Yeovil Town,with whom he made his Football League debut,Oldham Athletic and Swansea City.
The 2018–19 AFC Bournemouth season is the club's fourth consecutive season in the top flight of English football and their 129th year in existence. This season Bournemouth participated in the Premier League as well as the FA Cup and EFL Cup.
