Eden Consolidated Independent School District is a public school district based in Eden, Texas (USA). The district is located in southern Concho County, including Eola, and extends into a small portion of northern Menard County.

Eden is a city in Concho County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,766 at the 2010 census. About half of the population consists of inmates housed at the Eden Detention Center.

On September 1, 1983, Eola Independent School District merged into Eden CISD. [1]

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. [2]

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is a branch of the state government of Texas in the United States responsible for public education. The agency is headquartered in the William B. Travis State Office Building in downtown Austin. Mike Morath, formerly a member of the Dallas Independent School District's board of trustees, was appointed commissioner of education by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Dec. 14, 2015, and began serving on Jan. 4, 2016.

Eden High School is a public high school located in Eden, Texas (USA) and classified as a 1A school by the UIL It is part of the Eden Consolidated Independent School District located in south central Concho County. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.
