Edward Caruana Dingli (born April 24, 1992) is a retired Maltese swimmer, holding the 400m freestyle (LCM) and the 200m and 400m individual medley (LCM) national record and both the LCM and the SCM relay national record in the 4x200m Freestyle. [1] He retired from competitive swimming after competing at the 2015 Summer Universiade. He is currently a law student at the University of Malta.

He is the son of Joseph Caruana Dingli, former national goalkeeper and captain of the Malta men's national water polo team.

Neil Agius is a Maltese former swimmer, who specialized in long-distance freestyle events. He held three Maltese records each in the 400, 800, and 1500 m freestyle until one of them was broken by Edward Caruana Dingli in 2011.

Melita issue

The Melita issue is a series of dual-purpose postage-and-revenue stamps issued by the Crown Colony of Malta between 1922 and 1926, depicting the national personification Melita. They were commemorative stamps since they celebrated the islands' new status as a self-governing colony following a new constitution in 1921, but they were also a definitive issue intended for regular use over an extended period of time.
