The Egyptian Armed Forces are the military forces of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces directs (a) Egyptian Army, (b) the Egyptian Navy, (c) Egyptian Air Force and (d) Egyptian Air Defense Forces.
An Armed Forces Day, alongside its branch-specific variants often referred to as Army or Soldier's Day, Navy or Sailor's Day, and Air Force or Aviator's Day, is a holiday dedicated to honoring the armed forces, or one of their branches, of a sovereign state, including their personnel, history, achievements, and perceived sacrifices. It's often patriotic or nationalistic in nature, carrying propaganda value outside of the conventional boundaries of a military's subculture and into the wider civilian society. Many nations around the world observe this day. It is usually distinct from a Veterans or Memorial Day, as the former is dedicated to those who previously served and the latter is dedicated to those who perished in the fulfillment of their duties.

The Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) is a special operations and homeland security event that is held every two years at the King Abdullah I airbase in Marka, Jordan. EDEX Expo is an annual career fair and exhibition in Sri Lanka which is the flagship event of EDEX. Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil El-Sisi is an Egyptian politician, dictator, and retired military officer who has been serving as the sixth and current president of Egypt since 2014. Before retiring as a general in the Egyptian military in 2014, Sisi served as Egypt's deputy prime minister from 2013 to 2014, minister of defense from 2012 to 2013, and director of military intelligence from 2010 to 2012. He was promoted to the rank of Field Marshal in January 2014.
The Sinai insurgency was an insurgency in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt, launched by Islamist militants against Egyptian security forces, which also included attacks on civilians. The insurgency began during the Egyptian Crisis, during which the longtime Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak was overthrown in the 2011 Egyptian revolution.

The ST-500 is a multi-mission armored vehicle that appeared for the first time during the Military and Defense Industries Exhibition EDEX 2018 in Cairo. It is produced at Military Factory 200 in cooperation with the International Marathon United Technology Group, which is a private Egyptian company. It is the younger sister of the ST-100 MRAP, and operates as a Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV) for transporting soldiers, special forces operations, or ambulances.
The Temsah 1 is an Egyptian mine-resistant and ambush-resistant MRAP armored personnel carrier, designed primarily for convoy protection, border patrol, counter-insurgency, troop transport, medical evacuation and command and control. Unveiled in 2016, it was designed and developed by Kader Factory for Developed Industries, and was displayed during the EDEX 2018 exhibition.

The Temsah is a family of armored personnel carriers developed by the Engineering Industries Complex of the Vehicles Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces, in cooperation with the “Military Factory 200 ” of the National Authority for Military Production, and the “Kader Factory for Developed Industries" of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, for the purposes of transporting serving pedestrians in difficult areas and roads, with an advanced level of protection against various threats.
