Aitkenhead Glacier is a 10-mile (16 km) long glacier flowing east-southeast from the Detroit Plateau, Graham Land, into Prince Gustav Channel. It was mapped from surveys by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1960–61), and named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Neil Aitkenhead, a FIDS geologist at Hope Bay (1959–60).

Bartrum Glacier is a small steeply crevassed glacier in the Brown Hills, flowing west between Bowling Green Plateau and Blank Peaks. It was mapped by the Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition (1962–63), and named after J.A. Bartrum (1885–1949), Professor of Geology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Cape Kjellman is a cape forming the west extremity of Belitsa Peninsula and marking the east side of the entrance to Charcot Bay, on the west side of Trinity Peninsula, Antarctica. It was first charted by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition, 1901–04, under Otto Nordenskiöld, and named by him, probably for Professor Frans Reinhold Kjellman, a Swedish botanist.

Sisterabben Hill is a hill about 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) north of Sistefjell Mountain, at the northeast end of the Kirwan Escarpment in Queen Maud Land. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE) (1949–52) and air photos by the Norwegian expedition (1958–59) and named Sisterabben.

Hooper Glacier glacier in Antarctica

Hooper Glacier is a glacier 3 nautical miles (6 km) long, flowing from the col north of Mount William into the west side of Börgen Bay, Anvers Island, in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in 1955, and named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Peter R. Hooper of FIDS, leader and geologist at the Arthur Harbour station in 1955 and 1956. Gateway Ridge separates Hooper Glacier from William Glacier.

Russell East Glacier glacier in Antarctica

Russell East Glacier is a glacier, 6 nautical miles (11 km) long and 3 nautical miles (6 km) wide, which lies at the north end of Detroit Plateau and flows from Mount Canicula and Verdikal Gap along the south slopes of Erul Heights eastward into Smokinya Cove in Prince Gustav Channel on the south side of Trinity Peninsula. This glacier together with Russell West Glacier, which flows westward into Bone Bay on the north side of Trinity Peninsula, form a through glacier across the north part of Antarctic Peninsula. It was first surveyed in 1946 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS). Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) for V.I. Russell, surveyor and leader of the FIDS base at Hope Bay in 1946.

Cape Lancaster is a cape forming the southern extremity of Anvers Island, in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It was discovered by a German expedition under Eduard Dallmann, 1873–74. The cape was later sighted by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition, 1897–99, under Gerlache, who named it for Albert Lancaster, Scientific Director of the Meteorological Service of the Royal Observatory of Belgium and a supporter of the expedition.

German submarine U-733 was a Type VIIC U-boat of Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine during World War II. The submarine was laid down on 15 October 1941 at the Schichau-Werke yard at Danzig, launched on 5 September 1942, and commissioned on 14 November 1942 under the command of Oberleutnant zur See Wilhelm von Trotha.
