Elba house is an Amman-based company that manufactures and assembles bus bodies. The company is a partnership divided equally between the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation and a Jordanian family named Khoury.

Elbahouse's headquarters and factories are located in Amman, with a total area of 100,000 square meters. The constructed area covers approximately 50,000 square meters. [1]

History

The company was established in 1976 [2] on 10 hectares of land located in Amman, Jordan with a capacity to assemble more than 2000 buses each year. Some of the current production is listed below:

Qasr Kharana, sometimes Qasr al-Kharana, Kharana, Qasr al-Harrana, Qasr al-Kharanah, Kharaneh, Khauranee, or Hraneh, is one of the best-known of the desert castles located in present-day eastern Jordan, about 60 kilometres (37 mi) east of Amman and relatively close to the border with Saudi Arabia. It is uncertain when the palace was constructed, but it likely orginiates from the Umayyad Dynasty. An inscription on an upper wall dates the building to before 710 CE. A Greek or Byzantine house may have existed on the site. The purpose of the building is a subject of debate among scholars. Theories as to the qasr's purpose include a Crusader's castle, a military stronghold, agricultural outpost, and resting place for caravan travelers. The current scholarly consensus is that the building was used as for meeting between local Bedouin leaders.

Abdali is an area in the Greater Amman Municipality, it is named relative to King Abdullah I who founded it during the 1940s. It covers an area of 15 square kilometres (6 sq mi) in the heart of Amman, with a population of 165,333 in 2015. Large parts of the district are residential, but due its geographical location in the center of the city, it contains several important governmental buildings and businesses. The area is known for containing several bus stations serving routes to many cities in Jordan.

New Abdali is an area in the Al-Abdali district in Amman, Jordan. Its development plan, launched in 2005, consisting of hotels, apartments, offices, commercial outlets and entertainment to be developed on 384,000 square metres (0.148 sq mi) of land, intending to create a total built-up area of over 2,000,000 square metres (0.77 sq mi). The area already hosts and will further host nearly all of the tallest buildings in Amman, including the current two tallest completed buildings of Amman which are Amman Rotana and W Amman.

King Hussein Business Park is a compound located in west Amman, Jordan. It is named after the late King Hussein and contains office buildings, auditorium, sports complex, and support areas that are equipped with an extensive ICT infrastructure. Home to over 40 major companies branches located in Amman such as; Hewlet-Packard, Rubicon LG and many others. And home to the yearly held New Think Festival and Zain Innovative Campus (ZINC).

The Jordan Museum is located in Ras Al-Ein district of Amman, Jordan. Built in 2014, the museum is the largest museum in Jordan and hosts the country's most important archaeological findings. Its two main permanent exhibitions are the Dead Sea Scrolls, including the Copper Scroll, and the 9000-year-old ʿAin Ghazal statues, which are among the oldest human statues ever made.

The Eugenio Lopez Junior Communications Center is the headquarters of the media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation and its subsidiaries, and the television network of the same name. It is located at ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center Compound in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. The center occupies ten thousand (10,000) square meters of land area adjacent to the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center and houses corporate offices, a studios, a three-level basement parking, a roof deck helipad, a film archive, a studio gallery, an exclusive executive dining restaurant, and garden. The center has a gross floor area of 101,608.32 square meters; almost seventy thousand (70,000) square meters of office space and over thirty thousand (30,000) square meters of parking space. The construction of the center, which costed 6 billion pesos, began in 1995, but was delayed due to the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997. It was opened in 2000, and was occupied gradually by ABS-CBN subsidiaries in the following years. It is a PEZA Special Economic Zone, designated as an IT center. It is named in honor of the late Eugenio Lopez Jr., the chairman emeritus of ABS-CBN. The dedication of the building was held on November 4, 2010, in a ceremony that was attended by the then-Philippine President Benigno Aquino III. ABS-CBN's Horizon PEZA IT Park, its soundstages, post-production and production facility of ABS-CBN is located at San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
