Electoral districts in Iran are used for elections to the Islamic Consultative Assembly. [1]

Overview

The parliament currently has 207 constituencies, including a total of 5 reserved seats for the religious minorities recognized by the constitution. The rest of 202 constituencies are territorial and coincide with 1 or more of Iran's 368 Shahrestans .

Parliamentary elections were held in Iran on 15 April 1984, with a second round on 17 May. The majority of seats were won by independents, whilst the Islamic Republican Party was the only party to win seats. Voter turnout was 65.1% in the first round.

Mojtaba Yousefi is an Iranian Principlist representative of Ahwaz in "Iran's Parliament", who was elected at the 11th Islamic Consultative Assembly from the electoral district of Ahvaz, Bavi, Hamidiyeh and Karun. He is a member of the "Civil Commission and the Integration Commission" in the parliament and has become the chairman of Branch-4 of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. This Twelver Shia representative possesses a master's degree in management/strategy from the university.

Mohammad Tala Mazloumi is a principlist representative of Behbahan and Aghajari in the Islamic Consultative Assembly who was elected at the 11th Majles elections on 21 February 2020 and captured about 18,000 votes.
