Electronics For You magazine is India's first monthly publication for electronics engineers. It was first conceptualised at IIT Madras in 1969 by Ramesh Chopra, and was published by EFY Enterprises Pvt Ltd headed by S.P Chopra and Veena Khanna.
The publisher of this magazine currently manages multiple magazines, annual events, and around 30 book titles. [1] The company also provides hands-on training courses, and manufactures and markets Do-It-Yourself electronics projects and hobby kits. [2] It has partnered with Mouser Electronics for their entire IoT series in India. [3] The magazine has partnered with ELCINA to conduct events that recognise and award innovative technology companies. [4] Additionally, the magazine sponsors the Electronics For You Prize, an award given to a student at IIT Madras each year. [5]

Subbiah Muthiah was an Indian writer, journalist, cartographer, amateur historian and heritage activist known for his writings on the political and cultural history of Chennai city. He was the founder of the fortnightly newspaper Madras Musings and the principal organizer of the annual Madras Day celebrations. Muthiah was also the founder-President of the Madras Book Club.

From January 2017 to June 2020, he was a Member of the Karnataka Knowledge Commission. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) since November 2019. Since August 2022, he is also the Advisor - Neuroscience to Feedfront Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a startup based in Bangalore.
Satish Kumar Kaura is an Indian technocrat, industrialist and the founder of Samtel Group, where he holds the post of the chairman. He is also the chairman and managing director of Samcor Glass Limited and the executive director of Samtel Colour Limited. An elected Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Kaura is the first recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2004, for his contributions to Indian industrial sector.

AgniKul Cosmos Private Limited is an Indian private aerospace manufacturer based in National Centre for Combustion Research and Development (NCCRD) of IIT Madras, Chennai. The start up aims to develop and launch its own small-lift launch vehicle such as the Agnibaan, capable of placing 100 kg (220 lb) payload into a 700 km (430 mi) orbit. The first commercial launch was expected in 2022. The first suborbital test vehicle was successfully launched on 30 May 2024. This mission achieved several notable milestones including world’s first flight with a single-piece 3D-printed engine, India’s first semi-cryo engine launch and India's first launch from a private launch pad.
Srikanth Sundararajan is an Indian innovator, entrepreneur, professor, and investor. He has worked at Hewlett Packard, Informix, and his own startups Pretzel Logic Software, Inc. and International Decision Systems in the U.S. Sundararajan was part of the executive leadership team at HCL.
