Elisabetta Cavallotti (born 1 July 1967 in Bologna, Italy) is an Italian actress.
After her theatre debut in 1982 in Luigi Pirandello's La patente(The License), Elisabetta Cavallotti has devoted herself mainly to cinema. Among the films in which she has acted are Graduates(1995), Guardami(1999), Bad Inclinations (2003). She has also appeared in TV series such as Don Matteo, Un posto al sole (the first soap opera filmed in Italy) and Capri. In 1999, she was part of the cast of the film Guardami, directed by Davide Ferrario, in which some scenes of non-simulated sex struck public opinion and critics. The actress, defined as "the star of the day at the Venice Film Festival",upon the release of the film declared her discomfort in filming them:It's not fun to film porn, but it was a challenge. [1] However,I don't have the feeling that my film was used for commercial purposes.In the same year Guardami was presented in competition at the David di Donatello.The actress then shot several other films, the latest of which in 2021 entitled Si vive una volta sola,directed by Carlo Verdone. In September2020, she won the Reggio Calabria Film Fest as best leading actress for the film La guerra a Cuba.The film was presented at numerous festivals and reviews, including the Los Angeles Italia Film Festival. He is a descendant of the politician and poet Felice Cavallotti. [4] [5]
