Elisha King (born 15 June 1999) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Football Club in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). [1] [2] King was signed by North Melbourne as a free agent during the expansion club signing period in 2018. [3] She made her debut in a 25-point victory over Greater Western Sydney at Drummoyne Oval in round 2 of the 2019 season. [4] [5]
Prior to being signed by North Melbourne, King had trained with Brisbane's squad and had been named Under 18 All-Australian at age 16 for her performances at the 2015 AFL Women's Under 18 Championships. [3] [6] It was revealed she signed on with the club for one more season on 17 June 2021, tying her to the club until the end of 2022. [7]
In June 2022, King was delisted by North Melbourne. [8]
Renee Tomkins is a former Australian soccer player who last played for Western Sydney Wanderers in the Australian W-League, and an Australian rules footballer who last played for Greater Western Sydney. In 2015, she juggled soccer and Australian rules football commitments, playing for Penrith Ramettes along with Marconi Stallions. She retired from soccer in 2016, concentrating on Australian rules football. Tomkins was selected in the AFL Sydney team and went on to play in their match against Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval before nominating for the inaugural AFLW national draft.

She made her debut in Round 1, 2017, in the club and the league's inaugural match at Ikon Park against Collingwood. Brown finished 2017 having played in all seven possible matches with Carlton. She was subsequently delisted at season's end. On 29 January 2019, Brown was announced as the first AFLW signing for the St Kilda Football Club Women's Team, who officially entered the AFL Women's competition in 2020. In March 2021, St Kilda announced they delisted Brown after playing 11 matches for the club. In the 2021 AFL Women's draft, Melbourne drafted her with the 45th pick after she played 12 games for Casey Demons in the VFL Women's. Brown is the only AFLW player to be signed to a third club after being delisted from two previous clubs. She was educated at Caulfield Grammar School.
Kate Shierlaw is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Carlton Football Club in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). She was recruited by Carlton as a rookie player prior to the club's inaugural AFLW season in 2017. She made her debut in round 2, 2017, in a match against Greater Western Sydney at Ikon Park. Shierlaw did not miss a game from then on, finishing with six matches played in 2017. She was delisted by Carlton at the end of the 2018 season.

Daria Bannister is an Australian rules footballer with Essendon in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Bannister was drafted by the Western Bulldogs with their fourth selection and nineteenth overall in the 2017 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut in the twenty-six point win against Fremantle at VU Whitten Oval in the opening round of the 2018 season. She suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter of that match, later revealed to be a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. The resulting surgery would see and end to her AFLW season and carry an estimated 12 months of recovery. In May 2018, Bannister signed with expansion club, North Melbourne, to play with the club in the 2019 AFLW season. It was revealed she signed on with the club for two more seasons on 17 June 2021, tying her to the club until the end of 2023. In May 2022, she joined expansion club Essendon.

After being overlooked in the national draft days earlier, de Melo was eventually drafted by Fremantle with their second selection and the 10th overall pick in the 2017 AFL Women's rookie draft. She made her debut in an 18-point loss to Greater Western Sydney at Fremantle Oval in round 5 of the 2018 season. She was delisted by Fremantle at the end of the 2018 season.

The 2019 season was Geelong Football Club's first in the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition.
