Ellen Bergli

Ellen Bergli (born 27 October 1945) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.

She served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Troms during the term 19972001.

Between 2000 and 2001, during the first cabinet Stoltenberg, she was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Fisheries.

Breistein also wrote the script, which was based on Hans Andersen Foss's novel Kristine: En fortælling fra Valdres. The film premiered on 26 December 1930 and it has been aired several times by NRK.

She was appointed a ministerial State Secretary serving Erna Solberg in October 2004. In 2010, she was appointed rector of the Sami Secondary School and Reindeer Herding School in Kautokeino. In June 2014, Thorhild Widvey, the Minister of Culture, appointed her to serve on the new board of NRK, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. She was the first Sami to hold such a position.
