The Dominican Republic has been under the jurisdiction of Embassy of India in Havana. [4]

Plan to set up a new resident embassy in Santo Domingo was announced on December 30, 2020. [5] [6]

S. Janakiraman is the current Indian Ambassador to the Dominican Republic. He is concurrently accredited to the Embassy of India in Cuba. [7]

The foreign relations of the Dominican Republic are the Dominican Republic's relations with other governments.

The Canada–Australia Consular Services Sharing Agreement is a bilateral agreement between the governments of Australia and Canada for each country to provide consular assistance to citizens of the other in situations which are from time to time agreed between the two countries. The consular services are available in identified locations where only one country has diplomatic representation.

The Embassy of India in Havana, Cuba is jointly accredited to the Dominican Republic. India also maintains an honorary consulate in Santo Domingo.

The Embassy of India in Kabul was the diplomatic mission of the Republic of India to Afghanistan. The current Ambassador is Rudrendra Tandon.
