Enrique Urbizu (born 1962) is a Spanish film director and screenwriter. A native of Bilbao, he was one of the few Spanish film directors who brought the film noir into the late Spanish film industry.
Urbizu graduated from Universidad del País Vasco, where he did media studies.
In 2011 he won the Goya Award for Best Director with the movie No Rest for the Wicked .[ citation needed ]
Silvia Pinal Hidalgo is a Mexican actress. She began her career in the theater, venturing into cinema in 1949. She is one of Mexico's greatest female stars, one of the last surviving major stars from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema and part of the Golden Age of Hollywood for her film Shark! (1969). Her work in film and popularity in her native country led Pinal to work in Europe. Pinal achieved international recognition by starring in a famous film trilogy directed by Luis Buñuel: Viridiana (1961), El ángel exterminador (1962) and Simón del Desierto (1965).
Arturo Pérez-Reverte Gutiérrez is a Spanish novelist and journalist. He worked as a war correspondent for RTVE for 21 years (1973–1994). His first novel, El húsar, set in the Napoleonic Wars, was published in 1986.
Captain Alatriste is a series of novels by Spanish author Arturo Pérez-Reverte. It deals with the adventures of the title character, a Spanish soldier and man of fortune living in the 17th century.

Silvia Pinal, frente a ti is a Mexican biographical television series directed by Carla Estrada and Mónica Miguel based on the life of the Mexican producer and actress Silvia Pinal. It stars Itatí Cantoral as the titular character. The series premiered on Las Estrellas on 24 February 2019 and ended on 22 March 2019.

Gigantes is a Spanish crime drama television series. Created by Miguel Barros, Michel Gaztambide and Enrique Urbizu for Movistar+ based on the original idea by Manuel Gancedo and starring Isak Férriz, Daniel Grao and Carlos Librado, the fiction follows the history of the Guerrero, a family based in Lavapiés controlling an extensive criminal network. The two seasons of the series aired in October 2018 and March 2019, respectively. It has been described as a "story about moral corruption, the dissolution of the family and the extinction of masculinity".
Libertad is a Spanish historical drama limited television series set in 19th-century Spain featuring both Western and survival thriller elements, produced by Movistar+ and LaZona, directed by Enrique Urbizu and starring Bebe, Isak Férriz, Xabier Deive, Jorge Suquet, Sofía Oria and Jason Fernández. It was released on 26 March 2021, both the five-part series and a theatrical feature film cut.
Las aventuras del capitán Alatriste is a Spanish adventure television series set in the early 17th century, consisting of an adaptation of the Captain Alatriste novel series by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, starring Aitor Luna in the lead role. It aired from January 2015 to April 2015 on Telecinco.
