Ensamma mamman ("single mom") is a Swedish comic strip created by Cecilia Torudd. [1] Ensamma mamman first made a brief appearance in Dagens Nyheter in 1985. It was well received by the readers and returned in 1987 as a fixed feature. Torudd continued drawing it until 1991, when it was syndicated by Bull, and it has since been rerun in many newspapers. Ensamma mamman deals with a single mother and her two teenage children, her 14-year-old son Beppe and her daughter Mia, 17 years old. [2]
Ensamma mamman received the Urhunden Prize by the Swedish Association for Promotion of Comics , in 1989.

Cecilia of Sweden, was Princess of Sweden as the daughter of King Gustav I and his second wife, Margaret Leijonhufvud, and Margravine of Baden-Rodemachern as the wife of Christopher II, Margrave of Baden-Rodemachern. Arn: The Knight Templar is an epic film based on Jan Guillou's trilogy about the fictional Swedish Knight Templar Arn Magnusson. The film was released to cinemas in Sweden on 17 December 2007 and the sequel, Arn – The Kingdom at Road's End, was released August 22, 2008, but both films were combined into a single cut for the English release on DVD in 2010. While the film is mostly in Swedish and most of the production was made in Sweden, the film is a joint production between Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Germany. With a total budget of around SEK 210 million for both films, it is the most expensive production in Swedish cinema. The film grossed $22.5 million according to BoxOfficeMojo.

There is a word play in the original Swedish title of book, because the word "katten," in addition to meaning "cat," is also used in the Swedish phrase which means "damn it!" As literally translated, the title of book is An Animal Has a Soul, Damn It!
