The International Center of Photography (ICP), at 79 Essex Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City, consists of a museum for photography and visual culture and a school offering an array of educational courses and programming. ICP's photographic collection, reading room, and archives are at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, New Jersey. The organization was founded by Cornell Capa in 1974.

The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH), is located in Lancaster, California. The museum's exhibits focus on post-war American art with an emphasis on California art. MOAH also preserves and exhibits historical artifacts from the Antelope Valley and offers exhibitions of local artists. At its current location, MOAH is an anchor of the BLVD, the community-focused development of Lancaster Blvd. Opened in 2012, the Museum consists of three floors and 20,000 square feet of programmable space. Special focus is given to exhibitions and engagement that connect relevant arts to the region's history, ranging from Native Americans and pioneers to aerospace.

12 Inches of Sin is a globally recognized annual art exhibition based in Las Vegas, which since its inception in 2010, has focused on exploring facets of human identity, sexuality, gender, and artistic expression. The exhibition accepts a wide range of art forms such as paintings, photographs, digital art, sculpture, illustration, mixed media and short films, all adhering to a specific rule: each piece should not exceed 12 inches in any dimension. Out of all submissions, 36 artists are selected by a panel of 12 esteemed judges. To date, artists from 26 countries have participated in this exhibition.
Carthaginian was a three-masted barque outfitted as a whaler that served both as a movie prop and a museum ship in Hawaii. Laid down and launched in Denmark in 1921 as the three-masted schooner Wandia, she was converted in 1964–1965 into a typical square-rigged 19th-century whaler for the filming of the 1966 movie Hawaii. Afterward, she was moored in the harbor of the former whaling port-of-call of Lahaina on the Hawaiian island of Maui, explaining the whaling industry in the Hawaiian islands. Carthaginian was lost in 1972 when she ran aground just outside the harbor on her way to drydock maintenance on Oahu and was replaced as a whaling museum by Carthaginian II in 1980.
Carolyn Marks Blackwood is an American fine art photographer, film producer, writer, screenwriter, and singer-songwriter. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Blackwood moved to New York State as a child, and finally to the Hudson Valley region of New York in 1999.
The tradition of photography started in the 19th century in Vietnam and has since then given rise to modern photography and photojournalism into the 20th century.
Jane Bauman is an American painter, sculptor, and academic. She has been a professor and Chair of the Visual and Performing Art Department at Coastline Community College in Newport Beach, California. As a working artist, she is very active in the Southern California art scene.
