Sunn Raha Hai is an Indian Hindi-language song from the 2013 Bollywood film, Aashiqui 2. Composed by Ankit Tiwari, the song is sung by Ankit Tiwari, with lyrics penned by Sandeep Nath. This song along with "Tum Hi Ho" became very popular and was a chartbuster all over India. The song is picturised on Rahul Jaykar performing at a music concert, while the female version of the song is picturised on Arohi Keshav Shirke performing at a local bar.

Amaal Mallik is an Indian music director, composer, singer, music producer, arranger, background scorer, performer and lyricist. He is the elder son of Daboo Malik and Jyothi Malik, and grandson of Sardar Malik. He is brother of singer Armaan Malik. He debuted as a composer in 2014 by composing three songs for Salman Khan's Jai Ho, following it up with the song "Naina" from Khoobsurat. He got widely recognition by composing songs for M.S. The award ceremony was started in 2008 to honour the best of Hindi film music. Dhruv Ghanekar was the winner in that award ceremony for the film Drona. As of the 2018 ceremony, Niladri Kumar is the most recent winner in this category for the song "Aahista" from the film Laila Majnu.
Anjjan Bhattacharya is an Indian composer, film score composer and singer. Bhattacharya was part of Meet Bros but parted ways in 2017.
The Mirchi Music Award for Upcoming Lyricist of The Year is given yearly by Radio Mirchi as a part of its annual Mirchi Music Awards for Hindi films, to recognise an upcoming lyricist for contributing in a film song. The award ceremony was started in 2008 to honour the best of Hindi film music. Ashok Mishra was the winner in that award ceremony for the film Welcome to Sajjanpur. As of the 2018 ceremony, Prateek Kuhad is the most recent winner in this category for the song "Kadam" from the film Karwaan.
