Erlend Melsom is a Norwegian amateur poker player most known for winning the World Series of Poker 2024 $3,000 Midstakes Freezeout Championship (Bracelet Event #49) ($523,195) - defeating Nikolay Yosifov in heads-up play. [1]

Melsom's first foray into live poker came in 2011 when he final tabled the European Poker Tour Tallinn Main Event for $64,758. [1]

As a contender in the Norwegian Championship Melsom has a 16th-place finish at best but a 3rd-place best finish in the Unofficial Norwegian Championship ($74,950) (2013). [2]

In the World Series of Poker 2016 $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event Championship (Event #68) he finished 983rd for $15,000. [3]

As of August 2024, Melsom's total live tournament winnings almost equals $750,000. [2]
