Ernst Billgren (born 18 November 1957) is a Swedish artist and writer.

Billgren was born in Stockholm and that is where he is currently based. He attended the Valand School of Fine Arts where he graduated in 1987.

His daughter Elsa Billgren is a television presenter. [1] He was previously married to artist Helene Billgren.

Melodifestivalen Swedish Eurovision Song Contest preselection

Melodifestivalen is an annual song competition organised by Swedish public broadcasters Sveriges Television (SVT) and Sveriges Radio (SR). It determines the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, and has been staged almost every year since 1959. In the early 2000s, the competition was the most popular television program in Sweden; it is also broadcast on radio and the Internet. In 2012, the heats averaged 3.3 million viewers, and over an estimated four million people in Sweden watched the final, almost half of the Swedish population.

Carl Milles Swedish sculptor (1875–1955)

Carl Milles was a Swedish sculptor. He was married to artist Olga Milles and brother to Ruth Milles and half-brother to the architect Evert Milles. Carl Milles sculpted the Gustaf Vasa statue at the Stockholm Nordic Museum, the Poseidon statue in Gothenburg, the Orpheus group outside the Stockholm Concert Hall, and the Fountain of Faith in Falls Church, Virginia. His home near Stockholm, Millesgården, became his resting place and is now a museum.

Sarah Dawn Finer is a Swedish singer, songwriter and actress. Her father is of English heritage from the United Kingdom, her mother is Jewish from the United States, and she was born and raised in Sweden. As a student, she attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School, a high-profile song-and-chorus school in Stockholm, where she was also president of the students' union. She is also known for playing Lynda Woodruff, the "official" spokesperson of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest, a character created by Edward af Sillén.

Louise (L) Lidströmer is a Swedish artist who studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm 1967–72. She works with paintings, sculpture and object installation, and has presented large series of exhibitions in and outside Sweden.

Melodifestivalen 2019

Melodifestivalen 2019 was the 59th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen and was held between 2 February 2019 and 9 March 2019. Presenters were Sarah Dawn Finer, Kodjo Akolor, Marika Carlsson and Eric Saade. Edward af Sillén returned as a consultant and adviser, producing various interval acts for the hosts. The winner of the contest is John Lundvik with the song "Too Late for Love". He represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel, finishing in 5th place.

Börje Karl Anders Sunna is a Swedish Sámi artist known for incorporating a strong political point of view into his artwork. Sunna was born in the Jukkasjärvi parish of Kiruna, Norrbotten County, Sweden. He grew up in a reindeer herding family in Kieksiäisvaara near the border of Finland and was educated at Academy of Fine Arts, Umeå and the Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. Nowadays he lives in Jokkmokk, Sweden.
