Mohammad Azharuddin also known as Azhar or Azzu among cricket fraternity, is an Indian politician, former cricketer. He is the Working President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. He was the Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from Moradabad. Renowned as an elegant middle-order batsman and one of India's most successful captains, he played 99 tests and 334 one day matches for India. His international playing career came to an end when he was found to be involved in a match-fixing scandal in 2000 and subsequently banned by the BCCI for life. In 2012, the Andhra Pradesh High Court declared the life ban illegal.

Hamilton Masakadza is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played all formats of the game for Zimbabwe. He captained the national team during 2016 ICC World T20, but was relieved of his duties due to an indifferent performance by the team during the tournament, where they failed to get past the qualifying round. In February 2019, Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed that Masakadza would captain the national side across all three formats for the 2019–20 season.

Jean-Paul Duminy, more commonly known as JP Duminy, is a South African cricket commentator, and former international cricketer. He was vice-captain of the South Africa Twenty20 team. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler. Duminy, who is a Cape Coloured, was raised in the Western Cape and played domestic cricket for his home team, the Cape Cobras.
Lucas "Kabamba" Floors is a former South African rugby union footballer, who made in excess of 200 appearances during his playing career. He started and finished his career at the SWD Eagles, making 33 appearances for the George-based outfit between 2003 and 2004 and a further 17 appearances in 2013. He spent the bulk of his career in Bloemfontein, representing the Free State Cheetahs in the domestic Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup competitions and the Cheetahs in Super Rugby. South Western Districts, known as SW Districts or SWD, is a South African first class cricket team based in the Western Cape city of Oudtshoorn, representing approximately the eastern half of Western Cape province. They form part of the Cape Cobras franchise, and play their home games at the Oudtshoorn Recreation Ground.

Frank Dimuth Madushanka Karunaratne, popularly known as Dimuth Karunaratne, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and current captain of the Sri Lanka Test cricket team. He is a left-handed red ball specialist who represents the country in both Tests and ODIs, and also a former ODI captain. He plays first-class cricket for the Sinhalese Sports Club. Karunaratne is the opening batsman for Sri Lanka in Test cricket.
Marcello Nicolin Piedt is a young South African bowler representing the South Western Districts. Piedt was called up to the SA Schools team in 2011 and has represented South Western Districts since the U13 levels. He is also a member of the Warriors Cubs franchise. He took 10–5–6–7 against Western Province on first-class debut in October 2012, and finished with 59 wickets, a record for a South African debut season. He was included in the South Western Districts cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup.

Aiden Kyle Markram is a South African cricketer who captained the South African U-19 cricket team to win the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In the 2018 South African Cricket Annual, he was named as one of the five Cricketers of the Year. Markram has been described by former captain and batsman Graeme Smith as a future South Africa captain. He made his international debut for South Africa in September 2017.

Prior to his T20 debut, he was named as captain of South Africa's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
