Eszter Pap (born 3 June 1993 in Budapest) is a Hungarian professional triathlete and European Championships bronze medalist of the year 2011. Since 2008 she has been a member of the Heraklesz high performance team. [1]
In the Hungarian elite ranking called Ranglista Eszter Pap is number 10.
In 2011, Eszter Pap also takes part in the German elite circuit 2. Bundesliga (Nord) and represents EJOT Team TV Buschhütten. At the opening triathlon in Gladbeck (15 May 2011), Pap had the second best time and her team (Charlotte Morel, Mignon Vatlach, Scarlet Vatlach) placed first. At the second Bundesliga triathlon in Gütersloh (22 May 2011), Pap placed first in the individual ranking, and again her team won the gold medal.
At the 2011 European Junior Championships in Pontevedra, Pap won the bronze medal and together with Eszter Dudás, David Pap and Gabor Hanko she placed fourth in the Mix Relay.
In Hungary, from 2008 to 2010 Eszter Pap represented the club ORTRI, since 2011 she is part of the elite team of Triatlon Villám (Budapest) and attends the highschool Csik Ferenc Általános Iskola és Gimnázium.
Eszter's younger brother David and her elder sister Csilla also take part in ITU competitions.
In the two years from 2009 to 2010, Eszter Pap took part in 9 ITU events and achieved 5 top ten positions, among which one gold and two silver medals. Anja Dittmer is a German professional triathlete. Dittmer is the only female member of the A-Team (ASICS Olympia Team) of the National Squad, the only female four-time Olympian, 1999 European Champion and 2006 European vice Champion.
Andrea Hansen is a New Zealand triathlete who placed third at the 2009 ITU Triathlon World Championships and competed at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Summer Olympics.
Francisco Javier Gómez Noya is a Spanish triathlete. He is the winner of five ITU Triathlon World Championships, he holds three ITU Triathlon World Cup titles, and won the Silver medal for Spain at the 2012 Summer Olympics in men's triathlon. Charlotte Morel, is a French professional triathlete, twelve times National Champion in various duathlon and triathlon categories, e.g. National U23 Triathlon Champion of the years 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. Since 2006, Morel is a permanent member of the French National Team. In the French Club Championship Series, Morel represented the club Beauvais, which e.g. in 2006, 2009 and in 2010 won both the French Club Championship Series Lyonnaise des Eaux and the National Club Championships in Gruissan. From 2013 to 2016, however, Morel will represent Issy les Moulineaux because of Beauvais' complete retreat from the elite sports.
Zsófia Tóth, also Zsófi, is a Hungarian professional triathlete, several times National Champion in various categories, number 2 in the national elite Ranglista and the 2011 National Vice Champion. Since 2005 she has been a permanent member of the National Team. In the 2010 ITU ranking (Women’s Standings) she was number 20 of the 81 best U23 triathletes of the world.
Zsófia Kovács is a Hungarian professional triathlete, winner of the Hungarian Cup 2010 (Triatlon Ranglista) and member of the National Team.
