Eti-Osa East is a local council development area in Nigeria. It was split off from Eti-Osa Local Government Area in 2003. [1]

Lekki Lagoon is a lagoon located in Lagos and Ogun states in Nigeria. The lagoon lies directly to the east of Lagos Lagoon and is connected to it by a channel. It is surrounded by many beaches.

The Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) was a public-private partnership between global energy and engineering companies and the UK Government that was established in the United Kingdom in 2007. The government set up the ETI following an announcement in the 2006 budget speech. The purpose of the ETI is to “accelerate the development, demonstration and eventual commercial deployment of a focused portfolio of energy technologies, which will increase energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help achieve energy and climate change goals”. The institute works with a range of academic and commercial bodies.

Eti-Osa is a Local Government Area of Lagos State in Nigeria. Lagos State Government administers the council area as Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, Eti-Osa East, and Iru Victoria Island LCDA. Within Eti-Osa are several important areas of Lagos State, including Lagos' Victoria Island. Before the Nigerian Capital moved to Abuja, Eti-Osa Local Government Area served alongside Lagos Island Local Government Area as the seat of the national capital. Eti-osa used to be the poorest neighborhood in Lagos State until development changed it to become one of the most prosperous areas where the richest Nigerians live in Lagos.

Obálendé, a corruption of the Yoruba saying Ibi ti Oba le wa de, meaning "Where the king chased us to", is a neighbourhood of Lagos, Nigeria, located in Eti-Osa LGA, close to Lagos Island. Eti-Osa was split by the Lagos State Government into Local Community Development Areas (LCDA) of which Ikoyi–Obalende is one. It contains many schools, including Holy Child College Obalende, St Gregory's College, Aunty Ayo International School and Girls Secondary Grammar School. It is bordered by the police barracks and Army barracks. Obalende is extremely crowded and congested. Obalende is famous for its night life, its red-light district and for its suya with a junction popularly called Suya junction.

Ikoyi Cemetery is one of many landmarks located in Ikoyi, part of the Eti Osa local government area of Lagos state, Nigeria. Many prominent Nigerians such as Herbert Macaulay are interred at Ikoyi Cemetery.

Maroko was a community in Eti-Osa, Lagos State, Nigeria. It was adjacent to Ikoyi and east of Victoria Island. It was a low-income area that attracted a lot of migrants since it was in close proximity to economically robust areas. Flooding and sand-filling affected Maroko during its life.

Lagos State Senior Model College Badore is a state owned secondary school located in Badore village, Eti-Osa Local government area of Lagos State. It is situated within the same compound as the junior school. It was founded in 1988, along with four other model colleges under the military administration of Captain Okhai Mike Akhigbe, the then Military Governor of Lagos state. The College which was established along with four others took off at Government College, Ketu, Epe. The other four model colleges are Igbonla, Kankon, Meiran and Igbokuta. From the period 1988–1992, the colleges were given necessary foundation and focus on their mission as pacesetters in academics and co-curricular endeavours. Students at the sister Model College Igbonla won laurels in programmes by the Directorate of Food Roads and Rural Infrastructure (DFRRI), the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) and several other competitions. For example, a student from the Igbonla College won the ANCOPSS National Essay Competition in 1992. The foundation principal for Igbonla, James Akinola Paseda, doubled as the coordinating principal for the five model colleges at inception in February 1988. The foundation principal for Badore was Mrs Arinze while the vice-principal was B.O. Williams.

The Admiralty Circle plaza is located in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State in Nigeria. It was established to collect tolls along the 49 km road expansion on Lekki–Eti-Osa Expressway. It is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) agreement between Lagos State's government and Messrs Ikeja Concession Company Limited LCC. The activity commenced at the plaza on 5 January 2011.

Ajah is a town in Eti-Osa local government area in Lagos State in Nigeria. It encompasses Addo, Langbasa, Badore, Ajiwe, VGC, etc. Ajah has been linked to shootings and clashes which resulted in death and loss of property.

The 2023 Nigerian presidential election in Lagos State was held on 25 February 2023 as part of the nationwide 2023 Nigerian presidential election to elect the president and vice president of Nigeria. Other federal elections, including elections to the House of Representatives and the Senate, were also held on the same date while state elections will be held two weeks afterward on 11 March.

The Lagos Central senatorial district in Lagos State, Nigeria covers the local government areas of Apapa, Eti-Osa, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere. The senator currently representing the district is Wasiu Sanni of the All Progressives Congress, who was elected in 2023.
