Eu'Vend (official subtitle the international trade fair for the vending industry) is organised every two years by Cologne Trade Fair (Koelnmesse) at the fairground in Cologne - Germany. The conceptual sponsor of the fair is the German Vending Association (bdv), international partner is the European Vending Association, Brussels. [1] The show is open for trade visitors only. Last Eu'Vend took place from 19.-21. September 2013. [2] The next show will be from 24.-26. September 2015 again. [3] [4] Since 2011 Eu'Vend takes place in conjunction with coffeena (official subtitle "international coffee fair"). [5] In 2013 the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe was the official education partner of coffeena for the first time. [6]

History

Till 2001 the interested companies exhibited their products at Anuga Food Fair [8]

. Than the vending industry decided to launch an own platform. At the first Eu'Vend in 2003 [9] there exhibited 178 companies from 13 countries. [10] Within these three days there came 3.968 trade visitors from 49 countries to Cologne - Germany. In the following years Eu'Vend has grown further. The participants in Eu'Vend 2013 comprised 217 suppliers from 23 countries. [11] These consisted of 126 exhibitors from Germany and 91 exhibitors (42%) from abroad. [12] With approx. 5.000 visitors from 60 countries (34 percent from abroad) Eu'Vend & coffeena is deemed to be the most international vending and coffee fair. [13]

Innovation Award "Vending Star"

Koelnmesse has been granting the innovation award 'Vending Star' since 2007 in conjunction with the German Vending Association (BDV) at Eu'Vend & coffeena Night. The competition aims to optimize the application possibilities and services in the vending field and thus also acts as the instigator for the branch. [14] The Members of the jury are: Helmut J. Photokina

Photokina is a trade fair held in Europe for the photographic and imaging industries. It is the world's largest such trade fair. The first Photokina was held in Cologne, Germany, in 1950, and since 1966 it has been held biennially in September at the Koelnmesse Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre in Deutz. The final Photokina under the then-current biennial cycle took place in 2018. Initially, the promoters planned to start a new annual cycle in 2019, with future shows to be held in May, but they later decided not to begin the new annual cycle until 2020. The worldwide outbreak of the Coronavirus disease 2019 and its effect on the imaging industry made Koelnmesse decide to cancel both Photokina 2020 and Photokina 2021. Many photographic and imaging companies introduce and showcase state of the art imaging products at Photokina.

Koelnmesse GmbH is an international trade fair and exhibition center located in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. With around 80 trade fairs and over 2,000 conferences annually, Koelnmesse is one of the country's largest trade fair organisers and with 284,000 m² exhibition floor area the third largest by area.

It supersedes Games Convention, held in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. Gamescom is used by many video game developers to exhibit upcoming games and game-related hardware.

The john conti Coffee Company is a roaster and supplier of high-grown Arabican coffees. The company was founded in 1962 and is based in Louisville, Kentucky, where its roasting facility also resides. Since 1990, it has used the trademark "The Best Coffee in Town". Beyond coffee, the company also makes Contea brand iced tea and Aqua Conti bottled water.

Coffee Fest Sarajevo

Coffee Fest Sarajevo is an international coffee festival that is held annually in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The festival was established in 2014 by the Profesional Association in cooperation with the Bosnian Ministry of Trade. Festival partners include Robert Bosch GmbH and Tesla, Inc. It is held in numerous venues across the city, which include the Skenderija Center and MyFace.
