The Hampton Terrace Historic District, originally called the Lakewood Manor Subdivision, is a U.S. historic district located in Tampa, Florida. The district is roughly bounded by Hanna Avenue to the north, 15th Street to the east, Nebraska Avenue to the west, and Hillsborough Avenue to the south. Hampton Terrace Historic District was so designated by its inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places on January 27, 1999.
The Crescent City Historic District is a U.S. Historic District located in Crescent City, Florida. The district is bounded by Lake Stella, Vernon Avenue, Lake Crescent, and Orange Avenue. It contains 212 historic buildings.
The Moses J. Taylor House, also known as the Dreamspinner Bed and Breakfast Inn, is a historic home in Eustis, Florida that has been operated as a bed and breakfast since about 1997. It was built in about 1881 as a two-and-a-half-story private home with elements of Italianate architecture. It was on a large property surrounded by citrus groves of the Taylor family until the land was split off for residential subdivisions built in the 1950s and 1960s.
The Purdy Villa is a historic U.S. home in Eustis, Florida. It is located at 3045 Eudora Road. On March 10, 2004, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The Woman's Club of Eustis is a historic woman's club in Eustis, Florida, United States. It is located at 227 North Center Street. On August 5, 1991, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
Ferran Park and the Alice McClelland Memorial Bandshell is a historic site in Eustis, Florida. It is located at the junction of Ferran Park Road and Orange Avenue, on Lake Eustis. On June 23, 1994, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. On July 6, 2005 it became a contributing property to the Eustis Commercial Historic District.
The Clifford House is a historic home in Eustis, Florida, United States. It is located at 536 North Bay Street. On April 4, 1975, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was owned by G.D. Clifford, an early settler and local merchandiser.
The Gould Hyde Norton House is a historic home in Eustis, Florida, United States. It is located at 1390 East Lakeview Drive. On May 16, 1997, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The Frank Lloyd Wright/Prairie School of Architecture Historic District is a residential neighborhood in the Cook County, Illinois village of Oak Park, United States. The Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District is both a federally designated historic district listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places and a local historic district within the village of Oak Park. The districts have differing boundaries and contributing properties, over 80 of which were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, widely regarded as the greatest American architect to have ever lived.
The Chicago Portage National Historic Site is a National Historic Site in Lyons, Cook County, Illinois, United States. It is located in Chicago Portage Forest Preserve and the Ottawa Trail Woods Forest Preserve, at the junction of Portage Creek with the Des Plaines River, on the west side of Harlem Avenue on the line of 48th Street. Preserved within the park is the western end of the historic portage linking the Chicago River to the Des Plaines River, thereby linking the Great Lakes to the Mississippi River. A memorial depicting the portage of French explorers is located at the parking area. A trail leads from the memorial down into the portage wilderness area.
Eliot Burying Ground is a historic seventeenth-century graveyard at Eustis and Washington Streets in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It occupies a roughly triangular lot of 0.8 acres (0.32 ha).
Bungalow Heaven is a neighborhood in Pasadena, California named for the more than 800 small craftsman homes built there from 1900 to 1930, most of which still stand. Much of the area became a landmark district in 1989 and annual historic home tours have been conducted in Bungalow Heaven every year since then.
The Captain Goodwin–James Eustis House is a historic house located at 1 Elm Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Built about 1760 and enlarged around 1830, it is a good local example of Greek Revival architecture, which was owned by a prominent local businessman and civic leader. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 2, 1990, where it is listed as the "Captain Goodwin–James Custis House".
The Dr. Tappan Eustis Francis House is a historic house at 35 Davis Avenue in Brookline, Massachusetts. Built in 1877-78, the 2-1/2 story house is a well-preserved rendering of Queen Anne styling in brick. Its roof has varying patterns of slate tiles, and the facade has a variety of brickwork decorations. Its chimneys feature Panel brick design elements, and it has a Stick style porch. The house was built for a doctor who served the town for 50 years.
LaRoe Family Homestead Historic District is a historic district in Eustis, Florida, near the corner of West County Road 44 and East Orange Avenue. It consists of a complex of buildings, nine of which are contributing properties to the district. They include the primary residence and various farm buildings. The architecture in the district is a combination of Late 19th and 20th Century Revival and Colonial Revival. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 29, 2009.
Lake George Avenue Historic District is a national historic district located at Ticonderoga, in Essex County, New York. The district contains 20 contributing buildings on 14 properties; 12 houses and eight garages. It includes single-family homes built between 1919 and 1921 by W.A. Gale for the Ticonderoga Pulp and Paper Company as rental properties for company management. The houses share a common American Craftsman influenced bungalow style. Gale also constructed the houses in the Amherst Avenue Historic District.
Hyde Park–Kenwood Historic District is the name of the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) district on the South Side of Chicago that includes parts of the Hyde Park and Kenwood community areas of Chicago, Illinois. The northern part of this district overlaps with the officially designated Chicago Landmark Kenwood District. This northern part of the Hyde Park–Kenwood Historic District contains the Chicago home of Barack Obama. The entire district was added to the NRHP on February 14, 1979 and expanded on August 16, 1984 and May 16, 1986. The district is bounded to the north, south, east and west, respectively by 47th Street, 59th Street, Lake Park Avenue and Cottage Groves Avenue. Despite the large amount of property associated with the University of Chicago, the Hyde Park–Kenwood Historic District is mostly residential. The district is considered to be significant for its architecture and education.
The Eustis Estate is a historic family estate on Canton Avenue in Milton, Massachusetts. Its centerpiece is the mansion house of William Ellery Channing Eustis, an eclectic Late Victorian stone building constructed in 1878. The estate also includes several other houses associated with the Eustis family, and a gatehouse and stable historically associated with the main estate. The estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district in 2016. Most of the original estate is owned by Historic New England, and was opened to the public as a museum property in 2017.
