Eva Meckbach (born 26 January 1981) is a German actress.
Meckbach was born in Seeheim-Jugenheim [1] and grew up in Heidenheim an der Brenz.
From 2000 to 2001, Meckbach took part in the Theaterprojekt Theater Total project in Bochum. From 2003 to 2006, She received her acting training at the Berlin University of the Arts. From 2006 to 2019, she was part of the permanent ensemble of Schaubühne. [1] In 2015, Meckbach and the ensemble for the play Tartuffe, staged by Michael Thalheimer, received the Golden Mask [2] and the Prix de critique de L'Association québécoise des critiques de théatre (Montreal 2015). [3]
In 2012, Meckbach starred in the drama film Home for the Weekend with Bernd Lange. In 2019, she took on one of the leading roles in the Netflix series Criminal: Germany. [4]
Meckbach also works regularly as an audio book speaker. In 2019, she was awarded the Deutscher Hörbuchpreis as best interpreter for the audio book by Deutsches Haus by the author Annette Hess. [5]
On 5 February 2021, as part of the #ActOut initiative in SZ-Magazin, Meckbach came out as lesbian. [6]

Jutta Lampe was a German actress on stage and in film. She was for 30 years a leading actress at the Schaubühne founded in Berlin by her husband Peter Stein, where she played both classical theatre such as Alkmene in Kleist's Amphitryon, and world premieres including Robert Wilson's Orlando for one actor, and roles that Botho Strauß created for her. She was also engaged at the Vienna Burgtheater and the Schauspielhaus Zürich. She appeared in more than twenty films from 1963, including lead roles in films by Margarethe von Trotta. Lampe was named Actress of the Year by Theater heute several times. Other awards included the Gertrud-Eysoldt-Ring and the Joana Maria Gorvin Prize for her life's work.

Streitraum is a series of public panel discussions held at the Schaubühne in Berlin since January 2000. Each season focuses on a different theme from the areas of politics and society. In moderated discussions held every four to six weeks before an audience of international guests, invited experts discuss topics from the areas of politics, culture, technology, media, and the human and natural sciences. The series has been organised and moderated by Carolin Emcke since 2004. Emcke states at the opening of each event that Streitraum is not a forum for arguments and conflict but rather an opportunity to watch people think. Each session ends with questions from the audience.

Hilde Scheppan was a German operatic soprano and academic teacher. She was engaged for 20 years at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin and made guest appearances at the Bayreuth Festival from 1937 to 1958. She performed roles in Wagner's stage works in productions by Heinz Tietjen both in Berlin and Bayreuth. After World War II, she first continued work in Berlin, but then moved to the Staatsoper Stuttgart. She taught as a professor of voice at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg and the Musikhochschule München.
The Würth Prize of Jeunesses Musicales Germany has been awarded since 1991 to artists, ensembles or projects who implement Jeunesses Musicales Germany's (JMD) values and objectives in an exemplary manner. Together with the Würth Foundation, the JMD has been honoring individual personalities, ensembles and projects every year. The prize is presented in Künzelsau and endowed with 25,000 euros. The jury is made up of representatives from the Würth Foundation and Jeunesses Musicales Germany and is advised by the Deutscher Musikrat. The JMD is the German section of the Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI). It was founded during the Second World War to encourage encounters between young musicians.
