Even Gabrielsen Wetten (born 12 August 1982 in Hamar) is a Norwegian speed skater. He became World Champion on 1,000 metres in 2005 in Inzell.
He retired 3 October 2007, only 25 years old, due to injuries and motivational issues.
Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. The World Allround Speed Skating Championships are a series of speed skating events held annually to determine the best allround speed skater of the world. The event is held over two days, with all skaters entering the first three distances and the best eight skaters over these distances getting to ride the last event. The results of the races are converted to points, and the skater with lowest total score wins the championship.

Brink! is a 1998 American sports drama film that depicts the sport of aggressive inline skating. Written by Jeff Schechter and directed by Greg Beeman, the film stars Erik von Detten as Andy "Brink" Brinker, a high school inline skater who joins a group of skaters to help his financially troubled family. The plot adapts and updates the 1865 novel Hans Brinker, or The Silver Skates by Mary Mapes Dodge. The film was released as the third Disney Channel Original Movie.

Limbo skating or roller limbo is a sport in which a person drives on roller skates underneath an obstacle like a horizontal pole without touching it. In order to pass an obstacle with a very low height, advanced athletes spread their legs apart, if possible into a full split, and lean their upper body forward, with the face almost touching the ground. As with traditional limbo dance, several athletes may participate in a competition, in which a pole is lowered from round to round. Whoever touches the pole is out, until only one person remains as the winner.
