Evert Skoglund (born May 10, 1953 in Milan) is an Italian former professional footballer. He played in many years in the Italian leagues. [1]
His father Lennart Skoglund was a famous player for F.C. Internazionale Milano and Sweden national football team. His younger brother Giorgio Skoglund also played football professionally. To distinguish them, Evert was known as Skoglund I and Giorgio as Skoglund II.

Evert won 18 major singles titles, including a record seven French Open titles and a joint-record six US Open titles. Evert was ranked world No. 1 for 260 weeks, and was the year-end world No. 1 singles player seven times. Alongside Martina Navratilova, her greatest rival, Evert dominated women's tennis in the 1970s and 1980s.
