Eye to Eye are a musical duo formed by American singer Deborah Berg and British pianist Julian Marshall (previously of Marshall Hain).
They first met in San Diego, California, in 1980 at a performance of the dance ensemble Mostly Women Moving, for whom Berg danced. Berg had been injured and sang instead of dancing on the night of the performance Marshall attended; he spoke with Berg and a few weeks later asked her to fly to England to record with him.
A recording contract with Automatic Records followed soon after, and their first single, "Am I Normal?", came out later that year. The single came to the attention of Steely Dan producer Gary Katz, which led to a contract with Warner Bros. Records. Their self-titled debut album was produced by Katz and released in 1982. The lead single "Nice Girls" cracked the Top 40 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. A second album, Shakespeare Stole My Baby, followed in 1983, but it did not receive much label support and did not sell well. [1] Until 2002, both albums would be available only as Japanese imports on CD, but in 2002, they were both released by independent label Wounded Bird Records on one CD.
In 2001, the members reunited, and in 2005 released a third album.

Last Date is a live Emmylou Harris album, released in October 1982. Recorded at a series of honky tonks and other small venues on the west coast, Harris conceived the album as a showcase for her Hot Band. It was composed mostly of country standards. Harris reached No. 1 on the U.S. country charts with the title single, written by Floyd Cramer, who originally took it to the top ten on the U.S. pop and country charts, as an instrumental in 1960. In 2000, Eminent Records reissued Last Date for the first time on CD, complete with new liner notes and two bonus tracks.

American country music artist Crystal Gayle has released 15 music videos and 68 singles, including six as a collaborative artist, four as a featured artist, and six promos. Gayle's debut single was 1970's "I've Cried " via Decca Records, which reached number 23 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. Encouraged by her sister to develop her own musical style, Gayle signed with United Artists Records where she began recording country pop material. It was the seventh studio release in Smith's music career and spawned two singles: "Baby My Baby" and "The Shuffle Song".
