In February 2025, it was announced that a romantic comedy film titled F*ck Valentine's Day was in development, with Marisa Tomei and Virginia Gardner cast in the lead roles. [1] In late March, Skylar Astin, Jake Cannavale, Sabrina Bartlett, Natasha Leggero, and Lil Rel Howery joined the cast. Principal photography began in March 2025, in Malta. [2]
