Clube do Chibuto, or simply Chibuto, is a Mozambique multi sports club from Chibuto especially known for its football.

Chibuto is a city located in the province of Gaza in Mozambique, about 200 km north of the capital, Maputo. It is the principal city of Chibuto District and is served by Chibuto Airport.

The championship was the 10th overall for Ferroviário Maputo and first since 2009.

The 2019 Moçambola is the 42nd season of Moçambola, the top-tier football league in Mozambique. The season was supposed to start on 30 March 2019, but was delayed to 27 April due to the damages caused by Cyclone Idai.
