FC Sevastopol-2 was a Ukrainian football club. It is the second squad or Reserve team of FC Sevastopol. The club competed in the Ukrainian Second League football competition of Ukraine for the first time in 2008 but was withdrawn from the competition during the winter break.
Previously the Reserve club FC Sevastopol-2 competed in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Football League and returned to that competition of 2009.
After the senior club was promoted to the Ukrainian Premier League the club was entered in the Reserves competition for the 2010–11 season. [1]
Upon relegation from the Ukrainian Premier League the club entered the reserve team once again in the Druha Liha for 2011–12 season.
The club was founded in 2004 and played under the name of Alvita. The club competed in the Autonomous Crimean Football League.

The Ukrainian Premier League or UPL is the highest division of Ukrainian annual football championship. Originally known as the Vyshcha Liha it was formed in 1991 during the 1992 Ukrainian football championship upon discontinuation of the 1991 Soviet football championship and included the Ukraine-based clubs that competed previously in the Soviet top three tiers competitions as well as better clubs of the Ukrainian republican competitions. The initial season of the league featured six former Soviet Top League clubs among which were Dynamo, Shakhtar, Chornomorets, Dnipro, Metalist, Metalurh as well as four more clubs that previously also competed at the top league.

The 2008–09 Ukrainian First League is the eighteenth since its establishment. The Professional Football League (PFL) decreased the number of teams in the league. This season, there are 18 teams instead of 20 teams competing. Two of the teams were relegated from the 2007–08 Ukrainian Premier League and two were promoted from the 2007–08 Ukrainian Second League. To decrease the number of teams in the competition 4 teams were relegated from the 2007–08 Ukrainian First League season.

FC Chornomorets-2 Odesa is former football team that was the reserve team of the FC Chornomorets Odesa. It was created out of the Chornomorets reserves team that competed in the Soviet competition in 1992. It was dissolved in 2020.

The 2010–11 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 20th since its establishment and third since its reorganization. Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions, having won their 5th league title. A total of sixteen teams participated in the competition, fourteen of them contested the 2009–10 season while the remaining two were promoted from the Ukrainian First League.
