Fabio Mazzeo (born 24 July 1983) is an Italian footballer who plays as a forward for Potenza.

Career

Mazzeo started his career at Salernitana. He then played for Serie C2 club Nocerina and Perugia of Serie C1.

In August 2009, Mazzeo left for Frosinone in Serie B on loan with Marco Martini and Massimo Perra moved to opposite direction. [2]

After the bankruptcy of Perugia Calcio, he was signed by Cosenza. In January 2011 he was signed by Atletico Roma. Both clubs bankrupted at the end of season.

On 11 July 2011 he was signed by Barletta. [3]

On 20 July 2012 he was signed by Nocerina. [4]

On 12 August 2013, the forward comes back to Perugia, having signed a two-year contract with the Grifoni. [5] [6]

On 17 July 2019, he signed with Livorno for a reported £2,000 week contract. [7] [8]

On 1 February 2021, his contract with Livorno was terminated by mutual consent, [9] and he signed with Potenza as a free agent. [10]

The 2019–20 Serie B was the 88th season since its establishment in 1929. The 20-team format returned after 16 years, the last time being in the 2002–03 season. The season was scheduled to run from 23 August 2019 to 14 May 2020, though on 9 March 2020, the Italian government halted the league until 3 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy. Serie B did not resume play on this date. On 18 May, it was announced that Italian football would be suspended until 14 June. On 28 May, it was announced that Serie B would resume starting from 20 June.

The 2021–22 Serie B was the 90th season of the Serie B since its establishment in 1929.
