Fahad Sheikh is a Pakistani television actor, best known for his lead role as Ahmer in the ARY Digital television series Jalan . [2] [3] [4] He was also seen in drama serial drama serial Azmaish and Dunk . Before Jalan he appeared in dramas such as Badbakht , Khudparast , and Bandish .

Career

Fahad faced challenges early on his career due to criticisms about his height, Urdu pronunciation and demeanor. [3] His break came with his role in the drama Jalan , which led to subsequent acting offers in Pakistani television. [3] Before starting his career as an actor, Fahad hosted Gyara Number, a television show in Lahore and was managing his clothing business. [7] Fahad attributes much of his success to the guidance and support of Fahad Mustafa, who has acted as a mentor, helping him navigate the industry. [3] [4]

Personal life

Fahad married Mehreen Sheikh, the daughter of Pakistani actress Shahida Mini, in 2012. [1] [8] The couple has two children. Their first child, a son, was born shortly after their marriage. [1] In August 2023, Fahad announced the birth of their daughter, Ayzel Fahad Sheikh, by sharing a picture of her hand on Instagram. [1] [8]

Dunk is a Pakistani drama serial that premiered on 23 December 2020 on ARY Digital. It deals with the false allegations of harassment and stars Bilal Abbas Khan as Haider, Sana Javed as Amal, Yasra Rizvi as Saira and Noman Ijaz as Professor Humayun. The serial has been written by Mohsin Ali and directed by Badar Mehmood, the duo who previously collaborated for mega-hits, Aisi Hai Tanhai and Ishqiya. According to producer Fahad Mustafa, the series is based on a real incident in Lahore. The story is inspired by an incident that took place in MAO college, Lahore, where a professor committed suicide over false harassment allegations by a student.
