Family Confidential is an Australian factual television show that looks at Australia's most famous and influential families as they share, often for the first time on television, the private truths behind the well-known public face. This observational documentary series began on the ABC in 2011. [1]

Death of Azaria Chamberlain Australian victim of animal attack

Azaria Chantel Loren Chamberlain was an Australian two-month, six-day old baby girl who was killed by a dingo on the night of 17 August 1980, on a family camping trip to Uluru in the Northern Territory. Her body was never found. Her parents, Lindy and Michael Chamberlain, reported that she had been taken from their tent by a dingo. Lindy Chamberlain was, however, tried for murder and spent more than three years in prison. She was released when a piece of Azaria's clothing was found near a dingo lair, and new inquests were opened. In 2012, 32 years after Azaria's death, the Chamberlains' version of events was officially supported by a coroner.

Anthony "The Man" Mundine is an Australian professional boxer and former rugby league footballer. He has competed since 2000 in boxing and held the WBA super-middleweight title twice between 2003 and 2008, the IBO middleweight title from 2009 to 2010, and the WBA interim super-welterweight title from 2011 to 2012. Mundine is well known for his heated rivalries with fellow Australians Danny Green and Daniel Geale.

Michael Corinthos is a fictional character on General Hospital, an American soap opera on the ABC network. "A dingo ate my baby!" is a cry popularly attributed to Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton as part of the death of Azaria Chamberlain case in 1980, at Uluru in the Northern Territory, Australia. The Chamberlain family had been camping near the rock when their daughter was taken from their tent by a dingo. Prosecuting authorities rejected her story about a dingo as far-fetched, charging her with murder and securing convictions against her and, also, against her then-husband Michael Chamberlain as an accessory after the fact. After years of challenge in the courts, both parents were absolved of the crime and a coroner found Azaria's death was "the result of being attacked and taken by a dingo".
