Nick at Nite is a nighttime programming block on the American basic cable channel Nickelodeon. Broadcasting from prime time to late night, the block intitally consisted of syndicated sitcoms and films from the 1950s to the 1970s. Nick at Nite gradually shifted its programming to primarily airing sitcoms as recent as the mid-1990s to the 2010s.

Series 20 of British television drama The Bill was broadcast from 7 January until 30 December 2004, and continued to use the serialized format introduced by Paul Marquess during Series 18. The series consisted of 94 regular episodes, and two episodes from a new documentary spin-off; The Bill: Uncovered. The first part, Des & Reg, came when ex-PC Des Taviner returned after faking his death in an explosion in the previous series, with his capture for the fatal station fire in 2002 and eventual death in custody bringing an end to the plot that ran for nearly two years. The second, "Kerry's Story", came after the death of PC Kerry Young at the hands of PC Gabriel Kent. Kent took centre stage in series 20 as he established himself as a fully-fledged villain; he first colluded with a gang of thugs to beat up criminals who evaded justice, before later colluding with a sniper to kill those who escaped justice. His murder of Young saw him frame the sniper by using his gun and method, having raped and bullied Young for refusing to embark on a relationship with him. Kent capped a year where his villainy dominated events by committing a second murder, throwing the sniper he colluded with off a fifth-storey balcony to his death to stop him being arrested.

The content in a television show is produced by one of two production methodologies: live taped shows such as variety and news magazine shows shot on a television studio stage or sporting events The other production model includes animation and a variety of film productions ranging from movies to series. Shows not produced on a television studio stage are usually contracted or licensed to be made by appropriate production companies.
A teen situation comedy, or teen sitcom, is a subgenre of comedic television program targeted towards young people. In general, these type of programs focus primarily on characters between 11 and 19 years of age and routinely feature characters involved in humorous situations, and often focus on the characters' family and social lives. The primary plot of each episode often involves the protagonist(s) the program centers on, while secondary plotlines often focus on the character(s') parents, siblings or friends, although the secondary characters may sometimes also or instead be involved in the episode's main plot.

Nothing Left to Lose is a 2017 horror novel by Dan Wells published by Tor Books. It is the sixth and final installment of the John Wayne Cleaver series, following Over Your Dead Body (2016). The novel concludes the story of sociopathic teenage protagonist John Cleaver and his hunt of an ancient network of demons who call themselves "the Withered." After bringing his best friend Brooke back to her home and family, John travels to Arizona to find Rain, the Queen of the Withered. In what appears to be a simple, small town, John has to face multiple demons, all while trying to hide from the FBI. Critical reception of Nothing Left to Lose was mostly positive, and the book was nominated for both an AML Award and a Dragon Award. It has been published in English, Spanish, and German. The audiobook version is narrated by Kirby Heyborne.
