She is a granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and a niece of King Charles III. She was born 6th in the line of succession to the British throne and is now 21st.

Elizabeth Madden is an American Olympic champion equestrian competing in show jumping. She has two Olympic golds and one silver in team jumping, and an individual bronze. She won the FEI Show Jumping World Cup twice; won two silvers and two bronzes at World Championships; and won two golds, one silver and two bronzes at the Pan American Games. She was the first American to break into the international top three show jumping ranking, and the first woman to win over one million dollars in show jumping prize money.

Sheila Varian was an American breeder of Arabian horses who lived and worked at the Varian Arabians Ranch near Arroyo Grande, California. She grew up with a strong interest in horses, and was mentored in horsemanship by Mary "Sid" Spencer, a local rancher and Morgan horse breeder who also introduced Varian to the vaquero or "Californio" tradition of western riding. She started her horse ranch, Varian Arabians, in 1954 with the assistance of her parents. Raising and training horses was her full-time occupation beginning in 1963. She used vaquero-influenced methods of training horses, although she adapted her technique over the years to fit the character of the Arabian horse, which she viewed as a horse breed requiring a smart yet gentle approach.
Jonelle Price is a New Zealand equestrian, competing in eventing. She is married to Tim Price, also a New Zealand eventing rider. They are both competing at top international level.
Fanny Lecluyse is a Belgian former swimmer. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the women's 200 metre breaststroke, finishing in 19th place overall in the heats, failing to qualify for the semifinals. Belgium's Olympic Committee said that Lecluyse "was sent home before the end of the games after an incident of inappropriate behavior."

Barbara Minneci is a Belgian Para-Equestrian Grade II, in dressage who is well recognised for riding side saddle. She rode her horse Barilla at the 2012 Summer Paralympics and stood out due to her riding style and Barilla being a Gypsy Cob type. They did not place in the medals.

Manon Clayes is a Paralympic equestrian of Belgium. She broke her neck and three vertebrae in her back in a horse-riding accident on Friday the 13th, April 2007. As a result of the accident, she sustained nerve damage on her right side and has only 30% power on that side of her body. She participated at the 2020 Summer Paralympics and won a bronze medal in both the Championship IV and Freestyle IV dressage competitions.
