Farm Island Lake is a lake in the U.S. state of Minnesota, located in Aitkin County north of Mille Lacs Lake. It is just west of U.S. Route 169.
Its name refers to traditional farming of islands in the lake by Ojibwe people. [1] They also hunted, fished, and harvested wild rice.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources maintains Farm Island State Wildlife Management Area and two public boat launches on the lake.

The Northwest Angle is the northernmost part of the contiguous United States. Its "northwesternmost point" served as a problematic landmark in treaties defining the international border.

Lyndale Avenue is a major street in Minneapolis, Brooklyn Center, Richfield, and Bloomington, Minnesota, in the United States. A noncontinuous portion exists in Faribault, part of Highway 21. There are several commercial districts along it, including Lyn-Lake in South Minneapolis, Shops at Lyndale in Richfield, and the Oxboro area in Bloomington. Portions of both Interstate 94 and Interstate 35 run on the right-of-way of Lyndale Avenue.
