Fatima Khamis Salem Khalfan Al Mazrouei is a diplomat from the United Arab Emirates. Ambassador Fatema Al Mazroeui made history when she became the United Arab Emirate's first female diplomat.

On January 12, 2017, she became the first female Ambassador to Denmark from the UAE. [1] In 2006 she was in one of the first groups of women to be allowed entry into the Federal National Council, when she was appointed to the legislature. [2] She is the UAE Ambassador to The Kingdom of Norway and presented her credentials to the Norwegian King Harald in January 2023.

He later received an MA degree in International Relations. In addition to his native Arabic, he speaks English and Persian.

According to Human Rights Watch, there is substantial discrimination against women in the United Arab Emirates. The status of women has improved over the years. UAE performs better on metrics of gender equality than many other states in the Gulf region, and it has been making reforms to protect women's rights and empower women in different sectors. Critics describe some of these reforms as window dressing.

On 10 January 2017, multiple bombings in Afghanistan occurred at government and tribal establishments during the renewed War in Afghanistan. The Taliban claimed responsibility for all but one of the attacks, which targeted a United Arab Emirates diplomatic mission. In total, at least 64 to at least 88 people were killed and at least 94 were wounded, with at least three attackers also being killed. Other attacks may have taken place.

Lana Zaki Nusseibeh is an Emirati diplomat who serves as the United Arab Emirates Permanent Representative to the United Nations since September 2013.

Nimisha Jayant Madhvani is a Ugandan diplomat, she currently serves as Uganda's Ambassador to the United Kingdom. Formerly Uganda's Ambassador to the Nordic countries she was accredited to Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Abu Dhabi is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Indonesia also has a consulate general in Dubai that opened in February 2003. The first Indonesian ambassador to the UAE was Abdullah Fuad Rachman (1993–1996). The current ambassador, Husin Bagis, was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 25 February 2016.

Shaikha Najlaa Mohammad Salem Al Qasimi is a United Arab Emirates diplomat who has served as the UAE's Ambassador to Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Portugal.
