Faulad is a 1963 Bollywood film written by Mulkraj Bhakri and Farooq Kaisser and directed by Mohammed Hussain, starring Dara Singh, Mumtaz, Minu Mumtaz, and Randhir. [1]

An astrologer shares a prediction with his Maharaja (Kamal Mehra) that in 18 years his daughter will marry a lower caste man who will dethrone him. The frightened ruler immediately orders that all newborn lower-caste male children be killed. But one boy's mother places her infant son in a basket, and floats him down the river. A royal maid (Praveen Paul) finds the child and saves him and raises him within the royal court. Over the next 18 years the boy grows to become the adult Amar (Dara Singh). He soon falls in love with the Maharaja's daughter (Mumtaz) and is appointed head of the Royal Site since the Maharajah believes him to be of noble birth. The scheming Prime Minister has his own designs on the princess, and it is not long before he orchestrates Amar's falling out of favor.

Ranjit Singh was the founder and first maharaja of the Sikh Empire, ruling from 1801 until his death in 1839. He ruled the northwest Indian subcontinent in the early half of the 19th century. He survived smallpox in infancy but lost sight in his left eye. He fought his first battle alongside his father at age 10.
Dara Singh Randhawa was an Indian professional wrestler, actor, director and politician. He started acting in 1952 and was the first sportsman to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha of India. He worked as Hindi and Punjabi film producer, director and writer, and he acted in films and television. His role of Hanuman in the film Bajrangbali (1976) and in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan made him popular. Singh was inducted into the Legacy wing of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Mumtaz Askari Madhvani is an Indian actress who worked in Hindi films. Regarded as one of finest actresses of Hindi cinema, Mumtaz is the recipient of two Filmfare Award. Mumtaz made her acting debut at age 11 with Lajwanti (1958), Sone Ki Chidiya (1958), and did smaller roles in films like Stree (1961) and Sehra (1963).
