The Fellowship of Christians in Universities & Schools (FOCUS) is a national, non-denominational Christian fellowship based in Stamford, Connecticut, United States. Though its members live throughout the United States, FOCUS primarily serves independent schools on the east coast. It was founded in 1961 by the Rev. Peter C. Moore. The Executive Director is Dan Walker.
FOCUS is a national organization that supports programs for independent school students and faculty. FOCUS invites scholars, artists, ministers, and professionals to address students and faculty so that they may investigate a life of faith, and grow both as individuals and as a community. FOCUS' national office is located in New Canaan, CT.
In FOCUS' ten areas, staff and volunteers coordinate school meetings, retreats and special programs. For example, FOCUS' Boarding School Ministry is an outreach geared to the specific needs and opportunities of the boarding schools, and FOCUS' New York City region is tailored for the many independent day school students there.
The current regions include Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA, Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Philadelphia, PA, New York City, New England Boarding Schools, Fairfield, CT, Boston, MA and San Francisco, CA.
FOCUS' Faculty Ministry works with faculty. It seeks to encourage their professional development, spiritual growth, and training in ministry. The Faculty Ministry provides networking opportunities, hosts an annual summer conference, and offers local faculty retreats.
FOCUS holds summer programs on its campus on the island of Martha's Vineyard, in the Adirondack Mountains, and hosts service trips in New York City. Over the winter break, FOCUS provides both skiing and non-skiing camps for middle and high school students.

The Fulbright Program, including the Fulbright–Hays Program, is one of several United States Cultural Exchange Programs whose goal is to improve intercultural relations, cultural diplomacy, and intercultural competence between the people of the United States and other countries through the exchange of persons, knowledge, and skills. It is one of the most prestigious and competitive fellowship programs in the world. Via the program, competitively-selected American citizens including students, scholars, teachers, professionals, scientists and artists may receive scholarships or grants to study, conduct research, teach, or exercise their talents abroad; and citizens of other countries may qualify to do the same in the United States of America. The program was founded by United States Senator J. William Fulbright in 1946 and is considered to be one of the most widely recognized and prestigious scholarships in the world. The program provides 8,000 grants annually.
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is an inter-denominational, evangelical Christian campus ministry founded in 1941, working with students and faculty on U.S. college and university campuses. In the 2018-2019 school year, 1,507 campus staff members served 34,513 students and faculty in 1,121 chapters on 772 campuses in the United States. InterVarsity is a charter member of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, a network of similar campus ministries around the world.
Bank Street College of Education is a private, nonprofit educational institution in Manhattan, New York City. Founded in 1963, NAIS represents independent schools and associations in the United States, including day, boarding, and day/boarding schools; elementary and secondary schools; boys', girls', and coeducational schools. Approximately 36 students are selected from among the more than 60,000 applications to the two schools each year.
