Fernando Ferrer is a Venezuelan Paralympian athlete competing mainly in category T11 sprint events.

Fernando competed in the T12 100m at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, he also went on to win a silver medal with his Venezuelan teammates in the T11-13 4 × 100 m behind host nation China.

He competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia, where he did not meal in any of his races.

Marcos Alfonso Lavado Mora is a Venezuelan swimmer. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's 200 metre butterfly, finishing in 27th place overall in the heats, failing to qualify for the semifinals, and was also part of the Venezuelan 4 x 100 m team. He was born in Barquisimeto. He was part of the Venezuelan team that won bronze in the men's 4 x 200 m freestyle relay at the 2011 Pan American Games.

Omar Monterola is a Paralympian athlete from Venezuela competing in category T37 sprinting events. Monterola qualified for the 2012 Summer Paralympics in the 100m, 200m and 400m sprints. He qualified for the finals of all three, winning the bronze medal in the 200m event.

Nicaragua sent a delegation to compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7–18 September 2016. This was the Central American country's third appearance at the Summer Paralympic Games, having made its debut twelve years earlier at the 2004 Summer Paralympics. They were represented by three athletes, sprinter Jennifer Osejo, middle-distance runner and sprinter Gabriel Cuadra Holmann and powerlifter Fernando Acevedo, who all qualified for the games by achieving the minimum qualifying standard in international competition.
