Fiddlehead is an American post-hardcore [1] supergroup, formed in Boston, Massachusetts. The band's current line-up consists of Patrick Flynn (vocals) and Shawn Costa (drums) of Have Heart, Alex Henery (guitar) of Basement, Alex Dow (guitar) of Big Contest and Nick Hinsch (bass) of Stand Off and Nuclear Age.
Fiddlehead released their first EP in 2014, titled Out of the Bloom. [2] In 2018, Fiddlehead signed to the Boston record label Run for Cover Records and released their debut full-length album titled Springtime and Blind. In 2021, they released their second full-length on Run for Cover, Between the Richness. [3] [4] [5] [1] [6] [7] In 2023, they released their third full-length on Run for Cover, Death Is Nothing to Us. [8]
The band rarely participates in full-length tours; this is often due to Patrick Flynn working full-time as a high school history teacher. [9] The band does regularly tend to commit to one-off shows or small weekend tours focused on a single region.

The band was formed in Austin in October 1993 by Daniel and Eno. Critics have described the band's musical style as rock, pop, art rock, and experimental rock.
Have Heart was an American straight edge hardcore punk band formed in New Bedford, Massachusetts in 2002. The band recorded a demo that was released in 2003. In 2004, they released the What Counts EP, with their debut full-length, The Things We Carry arriving in 2006. Their last full-length, Songs to Scream at the Sun, garnered much critical acclaim from hardcore critics and fans alike, winning 'album of the year' from many hardcore-oriented websites.
Vivian Girls is an American band based in Brooklyn, New York. The only consistent members have been Cassie Ramone and Katy Goodman, on guitar and bass, respectively; the group has had several drummers throughout its history. They took their name from a book by outsider artist Henry Darger.
Basement are an English rock band formed in Ipswich, Suffolk, in 2009. Their debut studio album, I Wish I Could Stay Here, was released in 2011. The next year, Colourmeinkindness was released, charting on the US Billboard Top 200. After touring in support of Colourmeinkindness, the band went on hiatus in 2012. In 2014, they reunited to release the EP Further Sky. The next album, Promise Everything, charted in 2016 in Australia, the UK and the US. The band's fourth album, Beside Myself, was released in October 2018.
Citizen is an American rock band from Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio that formed in 2009. The band currently consists of Mat Kerekes (vocals), brothers Nick and Eric Hamm (bass), Mason Mercer, and Ben Russin (drums). They are currently signed to Run for Cover Records, and have released four studio albums to date: Youth (2013), Everybody Is Going to Heaven (2015), As You Please (2017) and Life in Your Glass World (2021). A fifth, Calling the Dogs, was released in October 2023. Considered a part of emo's fourth wave, Pitchfork have described Citizen as "a band their fans can grow up with rather than out of."
