Figaro: An Original Musical is an original musical with music and lyrics by Ashley Jana and book by Ashley Jana and Will Nunziata.
Development for the musical was announced in April 2023 when Figaro presented to the Broadway Shark Tank [1] [2] and won top prize.

Figaro tells the story of young Sienna, whose dream has always been to sing, but feels trapped in her current life in her father's farm. One day she meets Figaro by chance, and he promises to make all her dreams come true, but at a cost.
Jana and Nunziata began writing the musical in 2020 during the pandemic. Jana's 21st Century compositional style, expertise in orchestrations, and masterful music engineering accelerated the concept album to reality by 2024. [3] The concept album was launched in a sold-out show at The Green Room 42 in NYC on March 4, 2024.

The album is produced by Ashley Jana, Will Nunziata, Grammy Award & Tony Award-winner Van Dean and Grammy Award & Tony Award nominee Mia Moravis. Andrew Byrnes and Tony Award-winner Michael Lamon are Associate Producers.
The musical is set to present a fully staged off-book premiere at the London Palladium in February 2025. [5] Casting for the premiere includes Aimie Atkinson (Lucia), Jon Robyns (Figaro), Cayleigh Capaldi (Sienna), Coronation Street's Daniel Brocklebank (Antonio), Ava Brennan (Gia), Cian Eagle-Service (Gianni), and Sophia Goodman (Amelia). Hello, Dolly! is a 1964 musical with lyrics and music by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart, based on Thornton Wilder's 1938 farce The Merchant of Yonkers, which Wilder revised and retitled The Matchmaker in 1954. The musical follows the story of Dolly Gallagher Levi, a strong-willed matchmaker, as she travels to Yonkers, New York, to find a match for the miserly "well-known unmarried half-a-millionaire" Horace Vandergelder.
The London Palladium is a Grade II* West End theatre located on Argyll Street, London, in Soho. The theatre was designed by Frank Matcham and opened in 1910. The auditorium holds 2,286 people. Hundreds of stars have played there, many with televised performances. Between 1955 and 1969 Sunday Night at the London Palladium was staged at the venue, produced for the ITV network. The show included a performance by the Beatles on 13 October 1963; one newspaper's headlines in the following days coined the term "Beatlemania" to describe the hysterical interest in the band.

Christian Dominique Borle is an American actor and singer. He is a two-time Tony Award winner for his roles as Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher and as William Shakespeare in Something Rotten!. Borle also originated the roles of Prince Herbert, et al. in Spamalot, Emmett in Legally Blonde, and Joe in Some Like It Hot on Broadway, earning Tony nominations for the latter two. He starred as Marvin in the 2016 Broadway revival of Falsettos, which also earned him a Tony nomination. His first leading role on Broadway was Jimmy Smith in Thoroughly Modern Millie. He would later also star as Bert in Mary Poppins and Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He also portrayed Orin Scrivello in the Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors. Borle starred as Tom Levitt on the NBC musical-drama television series Smash and Vox in the adult animated black comedy musical series Hazbin Hotel.

American Idiot is a sung-through rock musical based on the concept album of the same name by rock band Green Day. After a run at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in 2009, the show moved to the St. James Theatre on Broadway. Previews began on March 24, 2010, and the musical officially opened on April 20, 2010. The show closed on April 24, 2011, after 422 performances. The Wizard of Oz is a 2011 musical based on the 1939 film of the same name in turn based on L.
