"Fight for Love" is a song by Australian drag queen and singer Courtney Act, released on 19 December 2018 as her entry for the Eurovision - Australia Decides final, which took place in February 2019 to decide who would represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, to be held in Tel Aviv in May 2019. The song finished in 4th place with 52 points. [1]
Act told news.com.au: "A sweet 16 years after Australian Idol , I have the chance to show Australia how I have grown as an artist and a performer [...] I've sat at home every year since Guy Sebastian competed [at Eurovision] in 2015 and have been so keen to be a part of it." [2] Act met the writers of the song at Kylie Minogue’s 50th birthday party; where one of the writers told Act that he loved her on Celebrity Big Brother and that he would love to work with her.
Express.co.uk called the song "uptempo dance-floor anthem that could go down a storm in Tel Aviv" and a "banger all about coming together and fighting for the things we believe in". [3]
Shane Gilberto Jenek, better known under the stage name Courtney Act, is an Australian drag queen, singer and television personality. Courtney first came to prominence competing on the first season of Australian Idol in 2003. After the show, she signed to BMG Australia, and she released her debut single, "Rub Me Wrong", which peaked at No. 29 on the ARIA Singles Chart and eventually gained a gold certification, ten years after its release. While auditioning for Australian Idol, she also became the first LGBTQ contestant to openly appear on a reality TV talent show. In 2014, Courtney was one of the runners-up in season six of RuPaul's Drag Race. In June 2019, a panel of judges from New York magazine placed her third on their list of "the most powerful drag queens in America", a ranking of 100 former Drag Race contestants.
Moldova has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 15 times, debuting in 2005. The country's best result is a third-place finish for SunStroke Project in 2017, with their song "Hey, Mamma!".

She was supposed to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with her song "Don't Break Me", until the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 2 April 2020, it was announced that she would represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
"Fairytale" is a song by Albanian singer Eneda Tarifa. It was issued as a single on 30 March 2016 by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) and Universal Music. The English-language mid-tempo power rock ballad was composed and written by Olsa Toqi. The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was the 64th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Tel Aviv, Israel, following Netta's win at the 2018 contest in Lisbon, Portugal, with the song "Toy". It was the third time Israel had hosted the contest, having previously done so in 1979 and 1999. However, this was the first time Israel hosted the contest outside of Jerusalem. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC), the contest was held at Expo Tel Aviv, and consisted of two semi-finals on 14 and 16 May, and the final on 18 May 2019. The three live shows were hosted by Erez Tal, Bar Refaeli, Assi Azar and Lucy Ayoub.
San Marino participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. The Sammarinese broadcaster San Marino RTV (SMRTV) confirmed that a season of 1in360 would not take place this year as it had been discussed. On 21 January 2019, it was announced that Serhat had been internally selected to represent San Marino in the 2019 contest in Tel Aviv, Israel. Serhat represented San Marino back in 2016 but failed to qualify for the final. He performed the 2019 entry "Say Na Na Na" in the first semi-final on 14 May 2019, in Tel Aviv, in which he finished at 8th place with 150 points, advancing to the Grand Final, being the second time San Marino qualifies after their 2014 entry. Serhat performed at the Grand Final on 18 May and finished 19th with 77 points, giving San Marino its best result to date.
Germany participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. The German entry was selected through the national final Unser Lied für Israel, organised by the German broadcaster Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR).
Ireland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "22", performed by Sarah McTernan and written by Janieck Devy, Marcia "Misha" Sondeijker, and Roel Rats. The song and the singer were internally selected in March 2019 by the Irish broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) to represent the nation at the 2019 contest in Tel Aviv, Israel.

As a figure skater, she was a two-time national junior champion in singles in 2015, 2016 and represented her country at the 2016 World Junior Championships. As a singer, she won the 2019 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and represented Denmark at that year's Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, finishing 12th with 120 points.
